1. Order a Takeaway

One simple trick is to order a large takeaway that the entire office can share in a big buffet style set up in the main meeting room – an ideal solution if you haven’t pre-ordered in advance. Perhaps a Chinese buffet, range of pizzas, a platter of sushi, or mixture of grilled meats from a Turkish restaurant.

2. Delivery of Canapes

Perhaps this year you’re still not quite ready for a full Christmas party with music, entertainment, and catering, but still want to add some Christmas flavour to your workplace. One option is to look for a caterer who will supply a range of canapes for your team which can be delivered and either served at employee’s desks or set up in a meeting room to allow people to select at there will.
3. Virtual Cookery Class

Many people are still working from home, remote working or part time hours and all employees may not be in the workplace at the same time. You can book a virtual chef from anywhere in the World who will be deliver a cooking class or demonstration into every participant kitchen meaning they can learn to create amazing food, and then chill online with their office buddies after – without leaving home!
4. Create a Global Christmas

Most workplaces are now filled with employees from all over the World and everyone has their favourite local and seasonal (doesn’t have to be Christmas food or celebration) food. It could be mince pies, something Scandinavian like a smorgasbord, or a Christmas baked delight, but not ask members of your international (and local) team to bring in something special that other members of the team will love to try!

5. Hire a Soup Truck

In these cold winter months where colds and viruses are on the rise; soup is a great winter warmer and will bring joy to the workplace. Many food truck companies will provide either a soup truck which can be parked outside your workplace or set up in your kitchen to serve delicious hot soup to everyone in office – it will make a lovely change to the normal cold sandwich.
6. Italian cake

A lovely Italian tradition is to give Panettone a Christmas gift so why not provide one to each member of the team for Christmas? Panettone is a large fruity enriched sweet bread, offered typically at Christmas and is made with dried fruits and candied peels. A nice gift to leave on employees’ desks during the day to take home and be shared with family and friends.
7. Company Christmas Hamper

Treat each employee or team managers to a Christmas hamper, which can be ordered online and delivered to the workplace to handed out by the office Santa! Wine, biscuits, cakes, jams, and beers all wrapped up in a beautiful hamper. The lucky recipients can keep the hamper to use at their leisure and is a lovely way to remember good times.

8. Company Baking Contest

One method of filling the office with amazing aromas is to test participants on creating some Christmas cakes and breads. The team can bake at home, bring the delights to the office, set up in a meeting room or reception for the contest before everyone gets involved in tasting the baked treats!
9. Send a Christmas Package to Employee's Homes

If you have home workers, part time employees, or remote workers you could decide to order some food to be sent to the homes of these employees. It could be a set menu like a roast turkey dinner, or range of Christmas treats to be shared with family and friends. Many of these packages come with a live cooking demonstration which can be viewed online.
10. Vodka jelly

Very simple to make; vodka plus jelly and boom you have vodka jelly! The perfect way to treat the team in the final hours of work before Christmas or just before the Christmas party.
