River-Sea is a working artisanal chocolate factory. You'll get to learn all about how chocolate is made from cacao, then you'll get walked to observe the production, where you can see the different machines and learn about what each one does to make delicious small-batch bean-to-bar chocolate! We'll finish with a job for you! You're now a River-Sea employee and get to wrap your own peice of chocolate.

Itinerary
Kids will learn about how chocolate is made with an interactive, hands-on presentation. See the cacao pod, cacao beans, and machines we use to make chocolate. Each kid and adult can take home a piece of chocolate they wrapped themselves. We recommend this tour for elementary ages.
Important: We are a working artisanal chocolate factory. Please do not tell your kids to expect Hershey or Willy Wonka :). Someday we'll have rides and a chocolate river, probably on planet Mars. But for now, we are just making chocolate and trying to give kids to opportunity to learn about the process. We need you to keep the kids from climbing things. Even normally calm kids get a little extra giddy with chocolate and excitement :).
