Beautiful views of glaciers and rivers. Breakfast was great, seating areas were comfortable and clean. Easy boarding with great service.

Great train trip - conductor was full of information and stories! Adventure class was very comfortable, I was happy we didn't pay for the upgrade. In case you're worried about buying these tickets here instead of from the official railroad site, don't be - they worked fine.

Everyone was so friendly and courteous. Fantastic trip. So many beautiful sights. What an amazing trip!

The trip from Anchorage to Seward by train is an absolute must if you are in Alaska. We had spent the previous 3 days touring Alaska by rental car and did not see anything close to what the train trip afforded us. Staff were amazing and the train is very comfortable.

Some of the best views we had so far, would recommend this as a must for visiting Alaska. Food on the train was very good also

An easy and affordable way to get to Seward from anchorage ready for our cruise ship departure in 2 days. We were in Adventure class. The rail car seats we’re comfortable with lots of room. We were able to go up to the dome viewing area where there was always a seat available. We got some great photos from up there. A great way to see the wilderness without having the hassle of driving.

Although the train was clean and the staff cheerful, the food was school cafeteria grade. Most disappointing - the tour guide was poor. She said very little, was inaccurate in her vocabulary, explaining how howitzers "shot down avalanches," that the glaciers were retreating because "ice just melts" and didn't say anything more about the geology, geography, native history, gold rushes or current economy. We loved our experience on the Rocky Mountain Express and were expecting something similar, but we would have seen as much, learned more and saved several hundred dollars by packing a lunch, taking the bus and reading a guide book.

Spectacular trip, excellent view and good food in the train food course. During the trip, it was possible to see belugas, bears, mountain gouts, and other animals. Additionally, it was possible to see spectacular glaciers, rivers and other natural attractions.

The scenery from the train that wouldn't have been able to be seen from a car or bus. The relaxing nature of the train and being able to move about during the trip.
