Amazing hospitality and great host. Amazing person and great customer service. He was super entertaining and made sure everyone had a great time.
FUN FUN, PEOPLE WERE SO FRIENDLY! Don't expect normal fairways, tees and greens, but what an experience!
It was rainy and cold…not too unexpected for Alaska but not the forecast you are hoping for when you have an 8pm tee time. So incredibly thankful we did not give up hope of golfing in Denali. Everyone at Black Diamond was FANTASTIC, especially Igor who told my husband and I to just have fun and have “the best day ever, I mean who can say they folded in Alaska!” Well we sure did have the best day ever golfing the night away. We had the course to ourselves, the rain completely stopped and we had a blast. I cannot recommend Black Diamond and the Tundra Golf Package. Memories for a lifetime! Thanks Igor and Black Diamond!
This was a lot of fun. Playing golf on Perma Frost is a little challenging. The ball bounces a little further that normal. We played 18 holes with a beer at the turn then lunch after. I can't say enough good things about the people that run this place. From my original phone call to book it until we were dropped off at Denali Visitor Center, they were awesome. We were picked up by Egor who showed great passion for his job and the beautiful surooundings. Lisa, the manager then got us checked in and ready to play. We were getting on the train to Fairbanks that afternoon so we had back packs and a change of clothes. She let us leave them in the restaurant and made us feel comfortable that they would be ok. At the turn she met us with a smile and made sure we had ehat we needed, which was a beer. We then went on and played another nine. We made the smart decision to eat lunch in the clubhouse. The food was wonderful and the price was even better. Again, Lisa made us feel at home and allowed us to take our time. The staff in the restaurant were just as amaizing. I wish I had their names. We finally had to say good bye and Matt took us to the visitor center. We were so happy with the entire experience and have and will continue to recommend Black Diamond to others.
The driver Matthew to and from the course was the best, polite and very accommodating. The course was very unique.
This was a wild terrain to play golf. They supply you a “goodie bag” that included 4 golf balls, tees, a towel, and ball markers. The carts are gas power and have no problems going through the hilly terrain. The ground if hard and the green are not really present so go into the experience with an open mind. Some area of the cart course cross over as ATV road so it is interesting. Do your self a favor and sit outside enjoy the amazing wine list and delicious food. It was an unexpected treat.
