Our family of 15 had am amazing time! From age 7 to age 71, the river condition was just perfect for us...very thrilling but we felt safe. The guides were very professional and fun!

We went with our family which included two teens and it was so much fun. It will certainly be a highlight of our week in Salida! Our guide, Megan was just extraordinary. She was patient and a wonderful teacher! When my little niece was cold and frightened from some of rapids... she was just wonderful trying to calm her down while guiding us expertly through Browns Canyon. We LOVED it! My brother came to Wilderness Aware about 10 years ago and we are so happy we came back to them again! Thank you, Megan!

Gatlin was a great dude, and an expert guide. This was our second trip with WA, first full day and it was a wild ride! Gatlin made us feel at ease and safe without being rigid or stuffy. He filled our day with laughter, great stories and maybe a few tall tales! His downhome friendly demeanor made the ride top notch, plus the Rapids were gnarly and too much fun! Thanks for a great trip, Gatlin! Because of guides like him, coming back next year is a no brainer !!

This was the fourth time my wife and I did a three day Inn to Inn trip with Wilderness Aware. Obviously, it has been worth not only doing but repeating. Every time has been excellent from the experience itself, to the safety, the equipment, the pictures, the guides, even the food. Gato was our guide this time and was awesome. On our trip before, it was Tony and he was also great. I highly recommend Wilderness Aware and Tony or Gato, aka Kat, who are both amazing guides for an experience to remember.

Amazing trip for everyone. Ages 12-77. Ryan was an amazing and fun guide. Weather was in the 80s; River was 60s. Wore wetsuits, jackets and booties that were provided-was perfect temperature. Got wet and had breaks; exciting. Lunch was a good sandwich spread. Went through class 2-4 rapids. We were ahead of time and got to stop to cliff jump/dive into Arkansas River.
