I am planning a trip to Charleston, and while I haven't purchased a TourPass, I have done the math and just cannot find how I can spend I day getting my money back on this. At $115 per adult for one day, it makes more sense just to pay the fees at the door for each activity. It will likely cost a lot less or at least just as much. What a bummer. Their activities are all the things we want to do, but even if I chose the most expensive activities, I'm looking at $100-$110 total for admission pricing. I am not wasting my money on this.

Great way to experience Charleston's top things to do. Loved that everything was organized in one place (on the app) and I could make quick reservations. Also helpful was the map which shows where I was and also where all of the tours and attractions around me were located.

Janell_L

The 2 activities we experienced were nice. A 3rd could have been completed if it didn’t take forever to navigate the process. An expensive mistake.

This app took the hassle out of entry to excursions. However, if weather is bad, you can’t cancel some events timely.

While we enjoyed the experiences we did the one thing we really wanted to do was unavailable when we tried to book it. For what we did do it would have been much cheaper to book the individual experiences. So unless you are super ambitious and do everything in the regular experience you will end up spending more money than if you just bought the things you wanted to do.

The whole idea for this is to save money. After doing the math of what I was able to do in a single day and using the free public transit it cost me more for the pass then if I had purchased them separately.

Annette_R

It was fun and easy with the pass. All done with your mobile phone from an app. We purchased a 2 day pass which we used Monday and Wednesday.

Me and hubby ate at the donut shop listed on standard tours and fell in love with the donuts 😍 we ended up filling much of our time with standard tours because they were super close together & got worn out. We had a carriage ride scheduled that we ended up not making because of lunch & got a nasty phone call in regards to it. Told them we had no issue declining the service (we already had used so many tours our pass had paid for itself, it wasn’t a big deal. It was 5 after the tour time. We had time slip away from us lol) & the lady on the phone wasn’t happy about it & demanded we call tour pass about it. (We didn’t, and will not be using the carriage company in our own time because of employee). The ghost tours were awesome & the hotel we stayed in was right next to it all. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY SUGGEST looking into if your *HOTEL* has the shuttle or the closest shuttle stop. Will save you so much time & $$ getting around.

Great find - good for multiple ideas and sites if you are there for limited time. We got the 2 day pass and were able to choose 3 premium activities and unlimited standard ones listed in the pp. Trolley service available for free that takes you throughout the area with unlimited access.

amytanglao

Enjoyed where I can visit the short time I was there. The vendors were helpful and welcoming. Informative museum visits, historical scenes.
