Manuel and Carolina have chosen an international and multicultural lifestyle that has allowed them to define themselves as cosmopolitans and hardened travelers. On one of their many adventures they discovered Santa Fe, New Mexico and fell in love with its history, traditions, scenery and architecture. They found in this city a corner of the world in which many cultures live together, recognizing tones unique to its environment. The Spanish, Mexican, and Native American cultures coexist in the capital of the Southwest in an extraordinary manner, giving rise to a unique and eclectic identity.
Santa Fe gave them the possibility of giving free reign to the most important adventure of their lives. Carolina is a formal chef with a “Grand Diplôme” from the famous International Le Cordon Bleu in both “Haute Cuisine” and “Patisserie”; Manuel is an experienced sommelier and aesthete.
Both will make your stay a truly gourmet experience.

The breakfast was divine, the presentation was gorgeous. A bit difficult to find the entrance, this was not indicated upon booking or any communication after booking. The chef did not remember we were vegetarians although we had communicated through messages on this. Luckily, we mentioned something before we received our main course. Carolina seemed extremely upset about this, as they prepare their inventory for meals in advance. It was a bit awkward after that. The inn and outdoor dining area were serene and beautiful. It was unfortunate to see her reaction, but we were grateful for the food and environment nonetheless.
My wife and I were disappointed with our "brunch", which really was *breakfast*, as it was at 9AM. Contrary to the listing that says the experience is 2.5 hours, we were finished and departed a mere 45 minutes after we arrived. Considering the very nice/tranquil backyard setting that Manuel and Carolina have set up, the whole meal felt very rushed and not relaxing; no pacing at all, one thing right after the other. It started with a melon juice that we really didn't care for; would've preferred orange, grapefruit, not eclectic like the cantaloupe, or whatever melon it was in this juice. There was a bottle of water with mint in it, also too eclectic and I asked for plain water. For both juice and water they should just ask what people want. There was a pastry stand with madeleines, brownies, and different breads on it. Way too much for just two people. We tried a slice of bread, which was a bit hard. Not really in the mood for brownies for breakfast. As with the juice and water, they should ask if people want toast, and maybe offer a taste of brownie, if someone is interested. There was also a cup of unidentified chopped up fruit, and we were given the option of adding homemade yogurt and/or granola to it. The 'entree' was chicken tacos, which was pretty odd, for a breakfast. It was good, but didn't knock us out. The final course was a very small dollop of vanilla "something" (not pudding, not custard, some other type of soft creamy dessert thing) with a small serving of Mexican chocolate pepper drink, like hot chocolate with a bit of a heat kick. As I said, about 45 minutes and we were done. My wife and I discussed the meal after we left, and we thought that our hosts didn't seem to go out of their way to make people feel welcome and comfortable to what's ostensibly their home. As I said, it all felt rushed. We thought that maybe they weren't in the mood to do this "event", or are just plain burned out by being hosts. We understand that Carolina has a culinary background and training, but for the price paid, it would have been better (to us, at least) to have some choices rather than have a set list of dishes put in front of us, most of which we wouldn't have ordered off a menu. Fortunately neither my wife nor I have food allergies or are vegetarian/vegan, since there was no heads up about what was going to be on the plates. We pictured somebody with allergies or vegetarian be in a really bad place when presented with the food given to them. In the listing there should probably be some sort of idea of what's going to be offered, so a prospective guest can know what to expect.
Simply amazing. Whoever said it only lasts an hour, must have been wolfing the food down. It was paced as you wished. The Chef was fully present and spent some time with us at our table. She was lovely. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and worth every penny.
The atmosphere was beautiful and food delicious!! Accessing front door was tricky as the address brought us to what looked like a home, i.e. no signage to park and enter in the back. We asked a neighbor. Also the brunch took an hour not the advertisement of 2.5 hours. Manuel was nice. We never met Carolina which I thought we would as her name was in the title. All in all it was delightful. Thanks!
Enjoyed the experience. Impressive food with beautiful presentation. Lots of work went into this preparation. Garden setting in a small botique hotel.
The brunch was amazing everyone was so courteous and friendly and the setting was beautiful we will be back! John and Patricia
