The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.
The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.
Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.
The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Fathers day out on the water for a day of deep sea fishing. Crew were great. Weather was good. Overall a great experience.
Loved the staff on this deep-sea fishing trip! They were constantly running up and down the boat helping everyone and making sure everyone knew what to do and had bait. We got to see many different fish being caught which was awesome and even saw some sharks trying to get our fish! Two downsides of the trip were 1. so many people were fishing all on the same side and many had trouble “following their lines” so constantly were tangling up with others. So most of the time spent was getting untangled with others. 2. There were others that were very territorial of “their fishing spot” so when you tried to follow your line or change spots some people would make rude comments about being in their spot and make you uncomfortable.
The crew was hilarious and got so excited anytime someone would catch a fish. Jenna and Isaac were awesome and made it so much fun! I would definitely come back and do it again. Bring water!!!
Absolutely the best fishing trip I have ever been on and definitely the best priced!! The crew was very friendly and very helpful.
Great views, great fishing. I wish they used a gaff hook more willingly as we saw a few big fish get away from the line breaking at the end, but maybe there is a reason for that. All said and done we caught 5 keepers that we brought home and cooked up and had a wonderful experience. We are already talking about when we want to go again!
Great job finding the fish by the captain and Isaac along with the rest of the crew were awesome ! The crew showed us how to fish and helped with every aspect. Can’t thank them enough !
