Not worth the price. Actually, a total rip-off!!! Advertised as a 3-hour class. It was less than 2 hours. Most of the food was pre-made. No opportunity to learn how to prepare dishes. There was some food that appeared from the back room that wasn't even part of the program. Stay away from this cooking class. Not a class AT ALL.!!!
Intimate enough for a date night, casual enough for a novice cook. Staff was concise, friendly and interactive. Would love to have a place like this back home in Florida.
Amazing experience! Chef was awesome! Food was delicious and had a little music to keep us entertained!
We celebrated our 21st Anniversary in Boston and had decided to book the SelfUp Italian cooking class from 2-5 pm, as it left our evening open. We didn't know what to expect as we entered the facility, grabbed some wine, cheese and crackers and aproned-up. Chef Gary came out and introduced himself and immediately engaged us in making our dessert first, as it had to chill. We continued on and made all of the items on our menu. It was very well organized, clean and highly informative. You could really tell that Chef Gary knew his trade and my wife and I had a blast! Highly recommended!
When we arrived, Chef said we’d all leave feeling like family. It was sooo true. My daughter and I met the nicest & most vibrant couple in Boston. The whole experience was so sweet and although I first thought there was too many people, the making of the pasta with total strangers was quite intimate. Who knew.
It was a great experience. They make it fun and make sure everyone is involved and having a great time. You can tell they really care.
