Pioneer Square

(Pass by)

Pioneer Square is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of Downtown Seattle, Washington, US. It was once the heart of the city: Seattle's founders settled there in 1852, following a brief six-month settlement at Alki Point on the far side of Elliott Bay.

Chinatown International District

(Pass by)

The Chinatown–International District of Seattle, Washington (also known as the CID) is the center of Seattle's Asian American community. Within the Chinatown International District are the three neighborhoods known as Seattle's Chinatown, Japantown and Little Saigon, named for the concentration of businesses owned by people of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese descent, respectively.

Pike Place Market

(Pass by)

Pike Place Market is a public market overlooking the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, Washington, United States. The Market opened August 17, 1907, and is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States.

Amazon Spheres

The Amazon Spheres are three spherical conservatories that are part of the Amazon headquarters campus in Seattle, Washington, United States. The three glass domes are covered in pentagonal hexecontahedron panels and serve as an employee lounge and workspace.

Seattle Center

(Pass by)

Space Needle, MOPOP, Pacific Science Center

Kerry Park

Kerry Park's view is considered to be the most iconic view of the city skyline, with the prominent Space Needle at the center, Elliott Bay to the west, and Mount Rainier in the background.

Hiram M. Chittenden Locks

The Ballard Locks carry more boat traffic than any other lock in the US, and the Locks, along with the fish ladder and the surrounding Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Gardens attract more than one million visitors annually, making it one of Seattle's top tourist attractions

Really great tour. Would recommend to anyone going to Seattle for the first time post cruise. Our guide had a ton of knowledge! Thanks for a great experience! Shout out to tour guide James!

Matthew, the "Singing Driver", was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about Seattle, the sights, landmarks, and neighborhoods. And, he entertained us throughout the trip with a rendition of songs from his experiences with the theatre. Got to the airport on time!

Enjoyed the views but didn't have anytime to shop anywhere or time to eat our sandwiches. We had to eat on the bus and it wasn't fun trying to eat and see as we were driving along. Would of loved at least 25 minutes at pikes market, but we just drove thru it.

Our guide Mathew was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. We now have a wonderful understanding of the history of Seattle

1. Our tour of Seattle with Show Me Seattle Tours was a mixed bag. The initial pickup was definitely a zero. The tour itself is about a four, so an average of two. 2. I booked the post-cruise tour online for 1 Sep 23 directly on the Show Me Seattle web page. The tour included an overall general tour of Seattle, plus we opted for the additions of the Pike Place Market and the Space Needle for additional cost. 3. The confirmation email said the meeting time for our pier would be 8:20a. The tour would then go to another pier for an 8:45a pickup, and the tour would start at 9:00a. The confirmation email said, “NOTE: Pick-up times subject to change – the reservations team will contact you with update.” 4. Of course, you never really know how long it will take to get off a cruise ship. Sometimes it’s 10 minutes. Sometimes it’s 90 minutes. You just never know. Our debarkation from Celebrity Solstice was pretty smooth, so we arrived at the meeting point at 7:45a, figuring we had about a 35-minute wait until the tour bus showed up. There were two others from another ship at the same pier location who got there about 15 mins before we did. There was no one from Show Me Seattle at the meeting point location. (For us, this was bus Lane R just outside the cruise terminal 91 building.) Rather there is another bus/transfer company who operates out of Lane R. The woman gruffly told us to stand about twenty feet away with the other two people. At 8:20a, there’s no bus. I call the office. The person says the port might be crowded, so it might take a bit for the bus to show up. Maybe 15 mins later, I got a text from the driver asking how many people were there. I said four. He replied there should be twelve passengers, so he has to wait. Four more people showed up about 10 mins later, then two more later, then two more another 15 mins later. (Btw, the last couple to show up said their confirmation email said to be at the meeting point at 8:45a). The bus finally arrived at the meeting point at about 9:00a. We’d been standing outside since 7:45a, so this is an hour and fifteen minutes. Imagine standing outside the terminal building for so long and knowing the terminal people don’t really care how badly you need to go to the bathroom. They just don’t want you back inside. And no benches at the meeting point, so we were standing this entire time. There was a snack shack nearby, but can you risk this not knowing when the bus will arrive, if ever? 5. After we loaded the bus, I tried to ask the driver (Jim) what happened on the meeting point times. He says the tour is supposed to start at 9:00a, and he was there right at 9:00a. If I’m unhappy, he’ll take me directly to the airport. He said the fact that we were told be at the meeting point at 8:20a was not his business. 6. The actual tour of Seattle was very good. The only negative was our time at the top of the Space Needle was cut to about 15-20 mins because of traffic and long line at the entry point, plus there were people on this part of the tour that needed to be at Sea-Tac by 4:00p which is still 15 mins beyond the Show Me Seattle advertised Sea-Tac drop-off time of 3:45p. Otherwise, the tour guide was energetic and very knowledgeable about Seattle. 7. In summary, if you want a very good tour of Seattle and don’t mind be treated without any regard to your own time, this is might be a good option for you. If you want a very good tour of Seattle and want to be treated like a valued customer, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Matthew the singing tour guide was fabulous! Not only was he entertaining, he was knowledgeable about Seattle and its environs. He navigated his way skillfully around narrow streets and showed us parts of Seattle we had only heard about. We weren’t thrilled to find out there are two levels for the trip (we were only offered one), but all in all, it was a great way to experience Seattle in a morning and get delivered to our hotel.

Our tour guide, DC, was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed all of the sights and commentary . Very enjoyable time.

Really enjoyed the tour - very informative and fun. Matthew was the tour guide and he was excellent - funny, very engaging with the group, but still focused. He also shared his love of musical theater by singing a couple of songs. I would highly recommend this tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. He was extremely helpful to those with limited mobility.

Matthew was our driver. He knew the area well and handled the traffic like a champ! He made our tour fun, educational, entertaining and even took pictures of his riders at certain scenic spots. He was very unique in the fact that he could sing very good, and we all enjoyed his voice. He kept our tour lively and was very interactive with the group. Just an absolutely great tour guide! I do wish, however, that we could have stayed at Pike's Market a little longer, but all-in-all, we had a great time!
