I had booked this primarily for my wife as the extent of my cooking experience is cooking hamburgers over a gas grill, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Chef David, “David”, was great; entertaining, patient. He talked to us about the history of local food & cooking while showing the group of 8 how to cook creole/Cajun, giving helpful hints along the way (using your knuckle as a measure!). During the wine break, while the food was cooking, he discussed pro football among the geographically diverse group. We ended the class eating our work and it was delicious. We topped it off with bananas foster. We took the 2:00 class and didn’t need dinner that night. I would recommend to anyone.

This was a fantastic class! Chef David was a great instructor and we had a great time. It was a hands on class and eating our creations as the end was awesome. Chef also threw in some great history on all of the dishes from New Orleans. We made Gumbo and Creole from scratch and watched the Banana Fosters demonstration at the end (YUM!). Highly entertaining and highly recommend.
