we loved our tour. It was customized to be a three day tour to include the annual buffalo round up as well as biking on a rail trail. Our guide was well informed of the history and an outstanding driver in the new F150 Ford truck that took us to such interesting places. we have recounted our adventure trip with many friends and completely recommend this Black Hills adventure tour group. We are looking into planning another trip with them.

Jamie, our guide, was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and sensitive to our needs. He took us to places we would never have found on our own.

This is a must-do tour!!!!! Rose was amazing!!!! The knowledge that she has about the area is unbelievable!!! Plus with her driving, we were able to look at everything and not the road. Rose took us to some special areas that you would not find on your own!!! The views that we saw of Mount Rushmore before going to the park were really breathtaking! I highly recommend this tour!!

Carrie was an outstanding guide, and took our small group all throughout Mt Rushmore and the Badlands area. She was smart, congenial and a total professional. We had a top notch experience and I recommend her without reservation. It was great from her insights to sharing the top SD speciality desserts with us!!

If you are visiting South Dakota, please treat yourself to a Black Hills adventure! Not only is it a terrific outdoor experience, but you will learn things from your tour guide that makes it that much more special. There is so much rich history and special places to see that are only known to someone from the area. We were lucky enough to have Rose “assigned” to us and she was absolutely wonderful! We had the opportunity to see so much more than we would have if we had been on our own. On top of that, she was a wealth of knowledge, gave us tips on what to do with the rest of our time in SD (which were absolutely perfect suggestions - definitely take the time to hike spearfish falls and devils bathtub), and best of all…she was terrific company. She even spent extra time with us - we cannot say “thanks” enough! BTW…the homemade chocolate toffee was spectacular!

This was a lot of fun. The hike was about 4.5 miles and pretty easy. We did this first when it was not so hot. The trip to Mount Rushmore was very good. Our guide , Christine, was very kind and knowledgeable Overall…..excellent

We had a wonderful tour with Karen Weik! She was extremely knowledgeable and tailored the day to our liking. We stayed at under canvas, who recommended Carrie’s company, Black hills adventure. Everything went perfect!

We actually took four all day tours in four days. Carrie was helpful with suggestions and information, customizing each day based upon our requests. We were with Chris on the first day and Mickie the next three days. Both of them were good fun and very accommodating. Our small party of two enjoyed the spotless and spacious vehicle. Both Chris and Mickie were excellent drivers. We had a good blend of national and state parks, wildlife, history, food, autumn leaves.
