Eric was amazing. So much knowledge about the Lake and the surrounding area. Easy to talk with and answered all our questions. The boat was super comfortable and relaxing. The Lake is beyond beautiful. Saw several Bald Eagles that he stopped for us to see closer.

Eric was a safe driver of the boat, firstly. He gave us lots of info about the history of the lake and island as well as contemporary info. He was just delightful and has many, many years of experience with boats Increasing comfort zone with someone else in control. The boat was so pleasant, super clean and has very comfortable seats. It was easy to hear each person speak. Eric paused the boat for good photos. The hike on wild horse island is very clearly marked and hilly alternating with more level. You don't have to be particularly fit to hike it but it isn't exactly flat. I loved it and we are an older group, one of us large. it was challenging but really just fine. The toilet on the island was super clean. We saw lots of animals and unique birds but not the bear or the five horses. It was still a FABULOUS trip. Eric is a wonderful leader in that he can't hike with us due to regulations but gave us all the info we needed to find our way and not get lost. He does have a contingency plan for if you accidentally take the wrong trail. Thanks, Eric! P.S. he gives lots of info about the water levels changing and showed us the floor of the lake (carefully). The water was pretty clear and gorgeous.

The family and I took the sunset cruise and it was amazing! Captain Eric was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He contacted us the day before to make sure we knew where to meet and what to pack. He was on time the day of the cruise and assisted any who needed help onto the boat. The boat was clean and appeared to be well maintained. All throughout our cruise Eric provided historical information of the island and went out of his way to show us points if interest that we would find interesting. We were able to see numerous osprey and eagles all around the island as well as the horses and deer. Eric let us off if the boat and we hiked the trials of the island, which was a blast. The entire cruise was enjoyable with a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely do this again! Thank you Captain Eric!!!

Our group of 9 had an amazing day out on Flathead Lake and exploring Wild Horse Island! Our guide Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made suggestions on what trail to take with our group, which included 4 small kids and it was perfect. Seeing and being out on this beautiful lake was a great way to spend part of our trip to Montana and we were amazed at all of the bighorn sheep that we saw on Wild Horse Island (maybe between 50-100) at a close distance! The boat was clean and spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. Would highly recommend!

I honestly didn’t take the flathead lake cruise, but I went on dozens of trips with Captain Eric when he owned and captained the Peace Dive Boat in Southern California. His was the best operation in California hands-down. None safer, more adventurous, or more fun. Crew and food were always superb. Eric and Angie are the best; I highly recommend booking a trip with them.

Our family was in Missoula to celebrate a birthday (35th) and the completion of a goal ( my son ran his 52nd half marathon...one in each state of America plus DC and Puerto Rico) We had a wonderful day on Flathead Lake with Eric. His boat was lovely and spacious. He was very engaging and very knowledgeable about the lake and all its wildlife. Wild Horse Island was beautiful, and we enjoyed the easy hike. We saw lots of Bald Eagles. Eric knew where they all nested. The whole family enjoyed the day on the lake. I highly recommend.

My Family and I had a wonderful time on this tour/excursion! Eric was an absolute joy and very friendly and shared plenty of fun information. We were able to see lots of animals and just had magical weather. The boat ride was so fun. Had great weather and our group of 6 had plenty of room! Eric allowed us to bring our own food/drinks as well which was very nice! The island was so pretty. Our group did the shorter hike ( about ~2 miles) and that was very pretty. Sadly we did not see horses (only ~5 on island) but we did see lots of birds, deers! Would highly recommend!

Eric was great on our sunset/ wild horse island cruise. He was Very personable, informative, and entertaining. I was a little worried about my 12, 13, and 14 year Olds being a little bored with the 4.5 hour trip, but they all loved it, and the time flew by on this beautiful lake. We did the short heritage loop on the island. Probably took about an hour to hike. We saw the horses, deer, and bighorn. On the ride out to the island we saw bald eagles and osprey. Overall, we highly recommend this tour.

I had booked the Sunset Cruise with Eric in late September, which was about 2 hours. Eric was really knowledgeable about the area, noting wildlife, the islands in Flathead Lake, and all the residences that surround the lake. The boat was large enough for six, and felt completely safe throughout the cruise. And to top it all off, seeing the sun set was just awesome. Highly recommend the trip, as they do run even after peak season is done (weather permitting, of course).
