Loved the Clear Creek Rafting trip! I was headed to Vail from Denver and this was the perfect mid-way adventure. Uber Clear Creek is a thrilling and challenging river with multiple Class 4 rapids, but Wyatt was an awesome guide and was able to coach us through it, even though our group was inexperienced and quite a bit out of sync ;) The guides and bus driver were all fun and full of personality and information. They clearly love what they do. They also have a nice shop. They take phots of you on the river and are available for purchase. $30 for one pic, but $50 for all (around 20 photos total). I did not purchase the photos myself because the majority were taken at a point in the river when we were instructed to get “Down!” So my face was not visible as I was following my guides instructions.

The rafting trip was amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and safety conscious and the trip itself was beautiful and an absolute blast. It’s super cold water so you’ll want clothes that don’t absorb water, but they do provide a wetsuit, helmet and life jacket. The only negative thing was the length of the rafting. It says half day but it’s really only about an hour and a half on the water. Still it’s an amazing experience and one you should definitely check out if you’re in the area.

Had a blast with my son … we love rafting everywhere we go. Sat in the front of the boat this time which is harder, but you get the most water to the face. We had a blast, and Siggy our guide did a great job of keeping us all safe!! Looking forward to the next trip!

We had a great time on the river! Chris was an excellent guide who made sure we were placed exactly in the right spot to enjoy the rapids. He even “rescued” a few folks on the river that day. It was an unusually cold June day and the water was 34 degrees so we purchase the insulated socks they had. Be sure to bring shoes that can get wet and they suggested not wearing cotton clothing under the wetsuits. We really enjoyed our day!

During our Colorado road trip stopped for some whitewater adventure. Jake our trip leader prepared us well and IVAN our guide was amazing! He created tons of fun and his level of experience made us feel safe and cared for every moment, while making us laugh. Perfectly balanced guide/leader. So grateful and blessed for the experience!

*I haven’t done the trip yet- but here is my experience THUS FAR* AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Every time I had to call, which I understand higher call volumes, hence my patience at the beginning, I would be on hold for over an hour at a time. There would be times I would be sent to voicemail AFTER the hour. The ONE of of 7 times I called, I finally reached someone who was beyond rude and hung up on me!! The first time I was trying to get ahold of them back in June 2021, was because they charged my card double and the amount stayed pending in my account for two weeks. Called my bank to figure out what to do and they said it had to be processed by AVA before I could even try to ask for a refund. Took me over three days to get ahold of them through phone and fb messenger. The second time I was calling was because they never sent me an email with any confirmation regarding my trip. Had no idea where to show up, what to bring, no emails no texts no nothing. After calling I STILL got nothing, as of today, July 18th. And I know they have my correct number AND email address as I get their marketing emails all the time now. (Which I understand, I work in marketing and their email campaigns are great- just not the actual email I’ve been waiting for). I booked this trip at the beginning of July, my experience is the last week of July. I leave in less than a week and have no idea where I’m supposed to be going. Really really disappointed in how everything has been handled this far. And if I hadn’t already booked and paid, I’d be switching companies in a heartbeat.

Awesome experience with AVA! Joe was a phenomenal guide, he clearly knew the river well and navigated with ease. It’s beyond important to pay attention to your guide or else you will fall out, like four members of our raft did. Joe helped everyone he could get back in the raft safely and the bus driver was waiting on shore to help the ones who had drifted too far. The crew at AVA take safety seriously. I highly recommend purchasing water socks as well as wet shoes for rafting, in case you fall out and lose a shoe as a couple of us did on this trip, then you have a back up layer. For a beginner I might not do this trip unless you are willing to pay close attention to the instructions and have people on board that you trust will do the same. Overall highly recommend AVA for a fun and safe time on the river!

Our family of 6 all had a great day navigating the white waters of the Clear Creek with Simon our guide. Simon was great, he had great stories of the rapids and past adventures. We thought this may be too difficult for my wife and I, but Simon got us off every rock we climbed up on. My boys also loved trying to follow the directional orders that Simon barked out. Exciting and a great time for all of us.
