This was a great tour showcasing African American history in DC. We went to some of the hidden gems that you would not see in other DC site tours while also stopping at some of the main DC sites. Our tour guide John was engaging and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was phenomenal, highly recommend. Our tour guide Drè was excellent. His range and depth of knowledge about African American history, the monuments, and the local sites was beyond impressive. We were blown away by the information he shared so precisely- effortlessly sharing dates, little known facts and quips that kept us engaged, sparked further curiosity and dialogue. I’m glad I booked this tour. It allowed me to see monuments while receiving transportation and wonderful history facts. Entrance into the National Museum of African American History and Culture was icing on the cake. Our tour guide, Dre’ did an excellent job hosting.

The history lesson given by Drea, always try to schedule with him, he is the best. Do your homework before scheduling your trip, stay away from Police Week and School Week (too much traffic)

Learning the story, meaning, and symbolism behind every memorial and/or statue visited on the tour was so valuable to us. Our tour guide, Dre’, was a living history book! He gave us so many rich facts at every stop and all points in between. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and have already recommended it to family and friends! Also shoutout to our bus driver for his excellent navigation and safety!
