Frank, our guide, is fantastic !! Just the right amount of history and fun. Thanks for a great tour. We will return for more Brooklyn experiences.

Guillermo_Ferraris

The tour was excellent and our host, John, was amazing. He knows Brooklyn like the back of his hand, and he was very sharp and witty sharing this knowledge, while pedalling, or sipping margaritas! Definitivamente recomiendo este tour, espectacular! Guillermo, from Argentina.

This tour is definitely worth your time! Our tour guide Frank is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. He started with the early history of Brooklyn before we embarked, then we rode for short-to-medium stretches, stopped, and the stories continued. Our group of just five made it easy to navigate the bike lanes and streets. (We saw another group of ~20 and that would be a challenge in this busy area.) The fourteen mile ride was quite easy and we felt safe the entire ride. You'll know more about Brooklyn than most of the locals by the end!

Frank was a very pleasant guide in terms of knowledge and personality! He told us a lot about the history of NYC and Brooklyn to help us understand Brooklyn. He stopped at a delicious and non-touristic pizza place for lunch. Very glad we did this tour with him, we enjoyed it very much and keep him in mind for a next trip to NYC! We advise everyone to take this great tour!

Everything was just right with Daniel as our guide. We had a lot of fun, saw a wide variety of Brooklyn sights and neighborhoods, learned about Brooklyn’s history and present, and felt very safe following him through parks, along to water front, and on bustling streets.

We had a private tour because we were just the two of us. And our guide, Daniel, could speak his mother tongue, Dutch. It was a relieve to stay outside the hustle and bustle. He showed us beautiful views. Thank you Daniel and sorry that Hilde scared you with a fall. Hilde & Anton, Belgium

Frank my guide was very knowledgeable and narrated a great history tour to go along with the site seeing tour. I saw parts of Brooklyn that I never would have seen by my own efforts. Lunch stop was authentic and delicious. We kept to designated cycle lanes so it felt self. I am not a regular cyclist and the 4.5 hour tour was very manageable. Loads of fun facts and really great to cycle and take in the Brooklyn sites like a local.

We were excited for the tour as it was very well reviewed. However, we felt the tour was mid-sold as the real experience was very different from what was advertised on trip advisor. Here were some of the main elements missing: 1. Admission to Raaka chocolate factory + 20 min stop. 2. Admission to Widow Jane distillery + 20 mins stop. 3. Cadman plaza park incl. court houses 4. Plymouth church of the pilgrims 5. Brooklyn bridge park 6. Fort Greene Park 7. Cobble Hill, Court Street and Kane Street Also, a couple of other points of feedback: - It says the ticket covers admission to Prospect Park even though it’s free. - It says snacks will be provided but none were. Apart from the fact several stops were missed, including the two admissions, the other major disappointing factor was the guide. While the guide was pleasant, they provided limited history or information at any of the stops. So the experience is more like a guided bike ride than an informative tour. Given you can hire public bikes for less than $10, with very clear bike lanes, the added value of the tour guide is minimal. Additionally, one of the main reasons we picked the tour was because it included so many stops, especially the chocolate factory and distillery as breaks. We didn’t get the chance to go to either even though I asked when we went past them. The guides response was “we haven’t gone there in ages” and “I’ve never seen the website”. That made the 2-hour section around Red Hook feel entirely pointless. In the end, the tour felt like a continuous 4 hour bike ride with a lunch break, rather than a varied and informative tour with breaks. To top things off, the company has ignored all our efforts to contact them via email and phone to request a partial-refund. So, customer service appears to be unimportant. I would strongly advise people to save their $88 and take a public bike along the waterfront.
