Hey done some 4x4 before but would never have tried this. Extremely technical, but handled with ease by our guide (Matt). Amazing scenery, thrilling journey, great walks, great guides, and a surprisingly good lunch! Would definitely use again!

Matt was very knowledgeable about the Needles in Canyonland, and lunch was Amazingly fresh and yummy. 4×4 was lots of fun, and The Joint hike led to some Amazing views.

Do you love adventure? Not afraid of heights? Don’t mind bouncing and jostling over a road that basically is off-road? Hiking in 90 degree heat? Then this is an awesome experience I would highly recommend. You have to trust your driver, which I did, but some of the maneuvers we had to do to traverse this “road” were heart-stopping. My only complaint was the hike had to take place during perhaps the hottest part of the day. We were hauling camera equipment and just couldn’t finish. The pictures we got? Spectacular.

An amazing day trip with a fabulous guide. This was one of the highlights of our Moab trip. Would highly recommend this company and this excursion.

This adventure was wonderful. The scenery is magnificent. We were fortunate enough to have both a guide (Charlotte) and a guide-in-training (Ben). Both were extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Our driver Matt with his amazing driving skills took my husband and I over and thru high elevations of rocky/bolder terrain with expertise and confidence. There were many times that the car's tires were within inches of steep drop-offs, yet Matt created a sense of calmness and assurances so that we could enjoy the scenery and the experience of off-roading. In addition, we experienced the back wilderness of Chesler Park in the Needles section of Canyon Lands. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that NAVTEC is the only touring commercial company that has the registration needed to enter certain areas of Canyon Lands and therefore, we practically had the place to ourselves. After being served a full lunch, we went on a guided hike on the Joint Trail where we walked through stone tunnels, between 100 foot tall rock walls and some rock scrambling for amazing views. This tour was by far our favorite part of the trip and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I had one day to do in Canyonlands. And being it is the biggest National Park seeing everything would have been impossible. So the decision to see the back country remote section of the Needles district was our choice. But I wanted a tour, a fun tour. The only thing was I didn’t expect it to be absolutely amazing!! The jeep tour was thrilling!! And the Needles is everything remote. Amazing sites with a hike as well and a homemade over the top lunch just went beyond our expectations. Our guide Urrey was incredible. I have a 16 year old son who talks occasionally if needed and he wouldn’t stop talking with Urrey. Just a fantastic guide, and person. This company is top notch. Our experience will be a long lasting memory.

Matt was a fantastic guide, especially given the situation with the third passenger that was put with us. Matt’s experience and knowledge of the area was great, he had a positive attitude and really loves this place. It’s a shame we got stuck with a foul mouthed drunk that we all had to babysit back down the hike. Matt did a great job leading him down and my wife and I followed, holding his (the drunk’s) backpack to keep him from falling over, or worse, knocking Matt down and injuring him (our biggest concern was getting back to the vehicle without this guy taking Matt out on the way). Navtec might want to consider observing people closer before you stick them in a guide’s vehicle (this guy was passed out on your couch with a can of truly at his feet while we were waiting to get going at 7:30 in the morning). Would have been a five star trip if we hadn’t had to deal with that. AGAIN - Matt was fantastic, and we really enjoyed that part of the experience- hats off to him for dealing with it so well. But when we pay that much for an excursion, we expect to be able to enjoy the whole thing and not be stuck with someone like that!! Oh - and the guy stiffed Matt for a tip, saying he only had a $50 - after all Matt did to get him back safely!
