This being my first visit to the beautiful city of Charleston I felt a walking tour would give me a good foothold of the city's history. Choosing Hidden Alleys and Passageways was the perfect way to accomplish that goal. Captain Jim was an incredible tour guide who was articulate and extremely well versed. 5 stars plus for this tour!!👍👍

This tour was so great and informative! Captain Jim was a wealth of information and fun facts. I highly recommend it! There wasn't a ton of walking but it was a nice balance of walking and information. Captain Jim was great at finding shady spots to stop at and talk. I would highly recommend wearing or bringing bug spray. We were all getting eaten up! Highly recommend this tour and Captain Jim!

This was the best tour in Charleston. Captain Jim is very knowledgeable about the true history of Charleston. If you don’t mind doing a little bit of walking this will be your favorite tour. Other tours seem to reading from a script but Captain Jim enjoys the lifestyle and rich history of charming Charleston. He also promotes not only his tour but the local arts and small businesses that makes Charleston, Charleston.
