Bienville Bites Food Tour is by far the best ever! If you haven’t booked a tour you need to. You won’t regret it. Bella was our tour guide and she is fabulous. Definitely doing this again⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sprinkle was a very enjoyable and informative tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the city and all of the restaurants we went to. She was very accommodating to my food restrictions. And was very easy to talk to. Mobile had a variety of foods to sample and the company chose very good restaurants. You won't leave hungry.

I’ve been on this tour before but I talked so much about it that my cousins decided to come down and go on it. Of course, I went with them! Very unique restaurants, lots of information about Mobile and great food! The weather was perfect and Cathedral Square looked amazing after its recent update. Best way to “taste” a city!

My husband and I go on quite a few food tours and are usually never disappointed. Our tour started at Ruby Slippers and the hostess of the restaurant seated us in a cluster of tables. We were served an amazing bite of fried green tomatoes with an awesome biscuit served with maple butter. This by far was the best tasting of the entire tour. At the end of the tour, a young woman said does everyone know my name, I am your tour guide. No one knew her name because she never introduced herself as well as never told us what we were eating (this was done by the restaurant. Isabella gave us a 5 minutes warning and then just proceeded to walk out of the restaurant. We all looked at each other and followed. She walked ahead of the group with no interaction with the group until the next stop. During this time (starting at Ruby) we all noticed we were being video'd which we all thought was quite strange. When we stopped to look at a beautiful building again we were being video'd...At the next stop I asked Isabella, what was was going on and why the video....she gave some explanation about the tour, and I told her we should have been told in advance so we were aware of it. She had no answer. Our next stop was a beautiful hotel, but other than Isabella telling us she was married there, most of her facts were wrong, and many of the people called her out on her historical knowledge and corrected her. Other eateries during the tour included a Vietnamese dish, stop at a peanut place, fish place with an abundance of oysters (I don't eat oysters but everyone said they were delicious....A BBQ place, a s place that we believed was the store front for the tour which were were given a praline cookie (delicious) and ended at another establishment for beignet with dipping sauce. We also visited a beautiful church along the way....So why 3 stars and not 5....due to the tour guide, most of her information she provided at the hotel, the church was totally inaccurate, at the church she wasn't even aware the bishop's house was right there, fortunately there was a person on the tour who previously was on a historical tour, and was able to provide accurate information and correct her. She didn't even know the history of the whisper wall in the hotel. She constantly left the group, and was the standing joke does she even know no one was following her when she just took off??? No interaction with the group, all of the food tours we have been on there has been plenty of interaction, the tour guide walks with the group. Quite frankly her "lingo" was stereotypic of a valley girl. All that being said, I would recommend this tour, it did have a good mix of food, but I would try to find out who your tour guide would be in advance. The best tours have a good mix of tastings as well as a tour guide that tells you what you are eating and provides a little history along the way.

My husband and I took the Friday afternoon tour with our guide, Lee Hanks. The tour and food were exquisite and we certainly did not leave hungry! Lee's knowledge of the city, the culture and the architecture made for such an educational and amazing experience. We look forward to booking another tour on our next trip down south!!!

Fabulous tour by fabulous guide Lee Hanks. Lee is a Mobile native and knew so much about the city's history and rich culinary offerings. Each of our stops had terrific food and great atmosphere. We were totally stuffed at the end, so when they say come hungry believe them! Definitely recommend doing this or one of their other tours. I'm sure the other guides are good too, but if you can go with Lee you'll have a great experience.

We loved our experience on this tour! The food was delicious and our guide, Cynthia, was a great host and shared lots of Mobile history. We look forward to signing up for other options in the future.

Food tours can be so much more than just food. Sofia gave us so much history of Mobile; she was very knowledgable but also so much fun. Talk about fun places - say Cuban Speakeasy Everyone at all the places we stopped were just delightful.
