This was a cool little audio tour. We enjoyed driving down the coast and having fun facts pointed out along the way. It was especially useful to have tips on where to stop and take short hikes. My dad, his girlfriend and I all enjoyed the tour.

Just a gorgeous drive and a really fun and educational tour. Love how the tour is able to trigger important spots as you drive along. Really enjoyed learning a bit about the history of the area. Fun little day trip for my wife and I. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a little weekend adventure.

The information in the audio portion gets a 4 star rating but the purchase process & app get 2 stars. After we purchased the self driving audio tour of Big Sur California, the email confirmation for the purchase was not clear on how to download & activate trip. We are fairly adept with tech & apps but we had to call customer support for assistance. Once we were on our way, the mapping worked fairly well, but for some reason the audio portion required the use of headphones. Though the app explained that we should use buttons for “End tour” & then “Resume” for long stops, sometimes after very brief stops the audio portion would or would not restart. This tour was rather frustrating at times and we expected something better since we found this thru TripAdvisor. There were several other similar driving audio tours from other companies, some that were cheaper but obviously we can’t say if those would have been better choices.
