you have to book early for this one as its popular its very windy on the outside edge but managed to get some great pics loved the glass on the floor to look down on the street below not for the faint heated had to go inside as the winds was strong great little gift shop and definalty worth the visit

A bit overpriced, but all in all a decent observation deck experience. Definitely a competitor to the old and rickety empire State Building. What makes this experience special is that you get to do part of it outdoors on a ledge like porch. This is also a great way to see both the World trade Center and the empire State Building all in one view. There are no shortage of high-rise buildings in New York from which to take pictures. I especially like the glass floor, but it's so dirty and fogged it's hard to really see through it clearly.

This observation deck offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline - both the downtown and mid town areas. The facility is very modern. We visited early on a Friday morning and experienced no wait times, and it wasn’t too crowded - all during the peak holiday season! Highly recommend this observation deck.

The view is indeed amazing - it's not cheap but if you get a good day like we did, the panorama from the viewing platform is spectactular. They do need to fix their online booking form (you get a small discount if you book online) - it doesn't handle overseas addresses at all well. Even though I had selected UK, the online form barfed on UK postcodes and counties and kept telling me that my address was invalid.

You’ll have fewer people with a ticket for the first entry. Buy ahead! Easy to find in the 30 Hudson Yards building (4th floor, people guiding and signage make it impossible to miss). Really nice queuing maze and cool elevator ride. They’ll take a “free” photo of your group prior to entry which you can see in a short custom video via scanning the QR code they give you. There are several bakeries and coffee shops right near the Edge entrance so arrive early and enjoy a coffee or snack before going in. You can spend as much time as you like on the deck.

Excellent, unusual view (due to the building being outside of the midtown area), the platform is huge and the drop is incredible. Well worth a trip. Wasn't too busy either (near closing in the evening).

Terrible experience. Be prepared for long queues even if you pre-book through City Pass, more than an hour wait time to get up in our case, not enough lifts and too small. Views are nice but complexity overcrowded, selling too many tickets for each slot. Also be prepared to wait for another 30-45 mins to get down again, and no personnel on hand to guide or manage the situation. Avoid at all costs, much better alternatives around in NYC!!

Don’t do this unless you’re very bored!!! 1 WTC: Spectacular! Empire State Building: Amazing! The Edge: No thankyou! Badly organized, not as spectacular as the others. Totally overrun and actually quite boring. And for that, it’s more expensive than the above mentioned too! Honest opinion from a German/ English couple.

We did the empire state, top of the rock and the edge and decided that the edge was probably our favourite. Amazing view of downtown and the river especially on a clear day. I think tickets are quite pricey but we had it included on our citypass which I would recommend. Recommend going early to avoid crowds.
