Alex was our tour guide and he was great! He was very knowledeable regarding the history of San Antonio and Texas. I learned a lot! He also made it fun. He took us to Mi Tierra for lunch which was delicious food! We saw some beautiful churches, a Mission, and a beautiful Japanese garden. There were many other things we saw as well. Very worthwhile tour! Thank You

The cathedrals and the Japanese Tea Garden were the highlights. The entire city is beautiful with so much history. Domingo was a fantastic tour guide. He knew so much history and was very welcoming. We had a great time. This is a great way to see the city. So glad we did this tour. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!

Grayline came Saturday morning and we realize there was no room for my scooter. We were told the tour was handicap accessible. I have tried three times for a refund but I have gotten no contact. I spent $218 for two and expect a refund.

This was a wonderful tour for anybody who has not been to San Antonio before, and want to experience the more cultural aspects of the city. Our tour guide, Alec, was very knowledgeable, and provided lots of information regarding the history and architecture of the city. Being in a small group (there were only 6 of us) allowed for questions and answers. We stopped at many places, and were able to get out and walk around; no stop was too long, as some tours can be. Alec really showed how wonderful San Antonio is.

Alex was very informative, energetic, and personable. He communicated via text regarding our hotel pickup. We learned much about the city and its history. It’s certainly a long day, but very much worth it.

Alex was a wonderful guide. Fun friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us plenty of information on all the sights and was accommodating to some physical needs.

San Antonio was a great place to go for a quick weekend trip. This was not a long-planned ahead weekend. We only decided to go about a week before going. We got a room at the Hotel Contessa, which is right on the Riverwalk. It was a beautiful hotel with a lot of things to do. It was clean and the staff was accommodating. My only complaint, if you can call it that, was a daily charge that we hadn't been told about and were not expecting. It amounted to $9.00 per day plus tax totaling $21.00 for two days. It won't break the bank, but I thought they should have been a little more transparent about it. I can't even remember what it was for, but when you are paying close to $300 per night, you'd think it was all included in the price given. Not a deal breaker and clearly, I'm nitpicking here. The Riverwalk was fantastic. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Good food. Plenty of shops just up from the Riverwalk. The Alamo was a short walk from the Hotel and was a great experience. We did the audio tour, which provided a lot of information on demand. Somewhere that I have wanted to go for a long time and I was not disappointed. The Tower of the Americas was cool. It was not crowded the evening we went and we did not have to wait too long to go up. It was a clear evening and the cityscape was worth it. We did not get a rental for this short trip and mostly walked everywhere we went. The weekend was about the right amount of time for the downtown area, but there would be plenty more to do if we were there longer and had a car to get around. A nice city to visit and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in going.

The San Antonio all day tour opened my eyes to its rich history, preservation efforts and multi faceted culture. Our guide had grown up playing on what is now the Riverwalk and shared the stories about its creation and the characters instrumental in making San Antonio what it is today. From churches to missions to early homes and neighborhoods, the city’s Indian, French and Spanish influences came alive for our group. This is a small tour in a special van. Comfortable and congenial. Worth every penny. I’ve encouraged everyone i know to sign up. I went solo as my husband attended a convention and was picked up right at my hotel. Very easy to do and like being in a delightful hands on history and culture class with lunch optional in a fun restaurant and shopping area.
