Scott O’Con was an excellent guide, giving us many details about Cleveland history! He was informative and funny! I learned many interesting facts about Cleveland & it’s history that I didn’t know before the tour. I would highly recommend him!

Growing up in Cleveland and thinking that I knew all about it, well forget that. Scott (our tour guide) was so knowledgeable. I learned so much about downtown Cleveland.
We learned about the “rich” history of the city. About the buildings and statues.
I can’t say enough about how awesome this tour was and how much it was enjoyed by the whole group attending.

Our neighborhood group of 25 took the Downtown Highlights tour with Scott and had a fabulous day. Even lifelong Clevelanders were surprised at his stories and interesting facts about the buildings of Cleveland. From Public Square to Playhouse Square we learned about the early mansions and the peak years of Cleveland. The Soldiers and Sailor’s Monument and Federal Reserve details, the magnificent Public Library were discussed and we went inside the Cleveland Trust Building(Heinens) and the Arcade. Scott is very knowledgeable and personable, and we really enjoyed our tour.

We took the Downtown Highlights Cleveland Tour. Scott did an excellent job of giving us a really good over view of the history and treasures of Cleveland. He had fascinating stories for us at every stop along the way and great recommendations of places to eat and visit through out the city. We can’t wait for our next trip to Cleveland to take another tour with Scott!

My family visiting from St. Louis and also from here had a wonderful time and learned a lot of interesting fun facts. Wish there were a few more people out and about downtown but it was Memorial Day weekend. Guide was tremendous. All in all a great experience.

My daughter, 20, and I drove from Erie, Pa., to take the Downtown Highlights Tour with Scott from Tours of Cleveland, and we had a great time! Scott had lots of great info, visuals, stories, history, insider tips, and even took a group photo and gave us an opportunity for a mid-tour potty break. He was kind, knowledgeable, and engaging, frequently chatting up guests on the tour about their hometowns, etc. This is a guy who clearly loves his job and his city. After the tour, my daughter and I spent several more hours checking out some of the places Scott suggested, like the library observation deck, the civil war memorial, the west side market, and we even hit the art museum (free!) to see the Monet exhibit on our way home.

Scott really knows his adopted city. Informative, funny, and professional. Kept the whole group engaged. Highly recommend that you do this first in Cleveland as you will learn about all sorts of places that you will want to visit afterward.

We usually book bus tours to see a city and were a little skeptical about how much of the city we'd see via a walking tour. However, we were very pleasantly surprised and satisfied with our walking tour. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw many city landmarks and he gave us good suggestions on how we might want to spend our remaining time in Cincinnati.
