If you are looking for an educational wine experience, this is NOT it! If you want to drive through the California countryside with just some dude, this is it. Our guide was not particularly knowledgeable and mostly just rambled. He was also our driver, which isn’t great when he is just rambling because he needs to focus on driving! The drive was fine except excessive midday traffic meant that we only got 4 of 6 wines at the first tasting, so I do feel cheated. For the most part, the wines were also not for me (or my partner, but they’re not a wine drinker). The only food available was a $35 charcuterie board. This was decent. I didn’t learn much about the wineries at all, I just tasted a couple of reds, whites, and one rosé.

Madonna winery was excellent, the host was engaging and friendly and got crowd participation.it was much a pleasure to be there.

The bus driver made the tour, he was brilliant. The first winery was the best although the whole tour was in the barrel store and tasting lounge. Maybe it was the time of year but I expected a bit more if a tour of the facility and what happens at each stage. The guy presenting was very knowledgeable. The second location was just a stop and taste in a gazebo outside the winery - very little in terms of winery information.

Basically a 6 hour trip for 2 55 minuets tastings. One at what looked like it might actually be a winery. The other was just a house with a very unlikely story about how it made wine, I suspect it was made from concentrate The transport was not as shown on the advertisement even the toilet did not work Overall an expensive waste of 6 hours of our vacation

It is nice to see vineyards. For me was not information about making wine , more about tasting. So maybe because it was Half day trip. Anyway it was nice.

Overall the experience was good, the tour staff was amazing, very friendly. The bus was comfortable and the trip was very pleasant. Julian the driver is a highlights, he explains everything during the tour. I wish the wineries were better though, the second winery was okay, but it wasn’t great.

The scenery on the way there and back was fantastic. The two vineyards were different experiences. The first one had more wines to taste (6) than the second (3). The second one was a more personable visit and gave out more information. Overall very good experience. Coach was disappointing , air conditioning didn’t work and quite tired decor. Marco was a great host/driver.

Patrick was a great tour guide on the bus. We ran behind schedule arriving back at 7.00pm. Good to visit two wineries feel we took an hour to get out of SAN Fran which limited our time at the wineries waiting for the 2nd bus to join.
