Mr. Ernie was a fantastic guide for this lovely tour! A visit to Keeneland, a drive through the rolling farm hills, and a barn visit with plenty of horse pats- it was a perfect afternoon. A nice, quiet pace and relaxing experience where we learned a ton!

Our tour guide Tim was exceptional and with over 30 years of thoroughbred experience, he shared his wealth of knowledge. It was a fascinating experience and an opportunity to see these amazing animals up close. We would highly recommend this tour.

We learned so much about Thoroughbreds and the industry. The amount of detail our tour guide went into in such a short amount of time was absolutely amazing. We went away from the tour appreciating the scope of these wonderful animals. Tim Wilson, our tour guide and who has been in the industry 30+ years, far exceeded our expectations and he left us with a sincere appreciation of the scope of this industry. Thank you again!

Mike our tour guide was excellent, so knowledgeable about thoroughbreds, horse farms, Keenland , the farms and the area. Had a lot of great stories about the area, owners, trainers and the horses. Best tour we were on.

Nicholas Todd Newman was our guide and made the tour a very fun, informative and comfortable experience. We saw and interacted with many horses and their newborns (3-4 week olds) and got to spend some time at Keeneland Park. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was a wealth of information about thoroughbreds, their breeding, and the Lexington area - and his delivery style kept it interesting for the entire duration of the tour. (No monotonous dry facts.) He also welcomed questions throughout and easily rolled with off-hand comments from the group, maintaining a high energy and light mood. One quick note - the interactions with horses at the end of the tour are at an actual horse farm. The guide leads you past multiple stables, which is the point where you can reach up and pet the horses (who are receptive and not too feisty or bitey). I enjoyed the authenticity of the experience but don’t expect something like a petting zoo to interact with the animals.

Great tour, guide was fantastic, funny and very informative. Great behind the scenes knowledge and access. Highly recommend!

Exceptional tour guide - he was once a jockey and had been working with horses since he was 8 years old. He could answer any questions we had, especially history - far beyond what we expected on a tour. All aspects were wonderful! Recommend bringing a bottle of water with you.
