I do not recommend this tour for novice solo kayakers. First, google maps took me one hour away from the address that was provided. I wasted two hours in the car. The tour operator is aware of this problem and can easily add a message on viator about not using Google maps. Secondly, it was the most tramatic kayaking experince ive had. I thought it would be a relaxing paddle but no! Many boats everywhere / you need to know how to kayak with control to avoid the boats and not run into the mangroves. As soon as we get in our kayaks, we are directed to paddle quickly & strong past heavy currents under a bridge and past multiple boats. The only thing that was good about my experience was the tour guide Keith who was patient and tried his best to manage the group of kayakers with different abilities. I was left on the water alone twice separated from the group and guide. i fell into the water once when I was left alone and yelled “help help” & thank goodness the guide heard me and came back. Overall it was a traumatic experience for me. not at all the relaxing fun wildlife experience I expected.

It was a beautiful day out on the water and in the mangroves. We didn’t see much in the water but we did see lots of herons. The trip is only two hours so it’s great for people of most fitness levels. The guide was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience well done with excellent guide! Information was presented in a very organized manner pertinent to the habitat! Would highly recommend this provider to anyone interested in preserving this habitat! Thanks to all for sharing this tour with us!, Mike & Dianne from South Carolina!

Our guide, Brittany, was excellent. Absolutely LOVED her! We got to see nurse sharks from the dock where we launched the boats. Didn't really see any wildlife during the actual kayaking except one really pretty and big bird. But I enjoyed the kayaking, the beauty of the mangrove tunnels, and cooling off in the swimming hole!

This was an excellent adventure! Suzanne was our guide and she was very knowledgeable. We saw four manatees. They swam under our kayak! We saw baby shark. It was my friends first time kayaking and she’s hooked. Thanks for a great afternoon, Suzanne!

The most memorable parts of my trip is seeing the manatees up close and personal along and other aquatic life. Also my tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny af!

Brittany was a great guide and spotted a manatee, sharks, crabs and a string ray. She took a lot of photos of our group and sent them to us all. Great time.

Learning about mangroves and ecology of the area. I little too strenuous (quick pace and hot) for all but the young and fit.
