The company is closed and they did not show up. They did not contact us about closing. They did not give us a refund. We are having to dispute through our credit card

Already sent. Sad that I’m having to dispute the $353 prepaid charge. No show and business has been shut down. No communication at all.

Scam. Do not book with this provider. We had a 5 hour snorkel tour booked for March 17. We arrived 20 minutes prior to departure. No one was around when we arrived so we walked into the office since the door was opened. They gave us a story about a family member getting into an accident the night before and they would have to issue a refund. They stated that we should see the refund within a few days. The refund was never provided and we had to dispute the charge with the credit card company. After reading reviews they do this to many. They never called or even attempted to refund the money. You can’t call their number as it always says the mailbox is full. Do not waste your money with this tour company.

They no showed us for our Manta Ray snorkeling activity. They did not and have not responded to repeated phone calls and emails. Our credit card company is currently disputing the charge with them.

They did not show up. We were so sad to have missed the opportunity, and to have wasted our evening waiting for a no show. Do not book with this company.

Unfortunately, it appears this business is no longer in operation. I showed up at the designated check-in time and the office door was locked & no one was around. It appeared that someone was in fact inside but was avoiding his customers. Another group also showed up that had booked back in December. They had also been stood up the night before for a Manta Ray excursion. Rumor has it Aloha Kayak has had their state permit pulled too, so they can no longer land the kayaks as advertised. Do NOT book with this company or you will be stood up & need a refund. Hopefully, the owner can recover from whatever issues have affected his business.

We booked this tour and payed in full through their payment system on line. We received the confirmation emails with check in details. When we arrived at the check in location there was no one at the office. The place looked derelict with abandoned trucks and kayak equipment and garbage everywhere. We waited for 45 mins. No one showed up. We checked down at the bay, no one from Aloha Kayak there. We called and texted and emailed with no response. Now we have to try and get our money back through Visa and we wasted a 1/2 day of our vacation. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

This company is in deep trouble and they will cause trouble to you. The state Division of Land and Nat. Resources/ Boating Dept. permit licensing will shut this criminal company down soon. Do not book with Aloha Kayak Co. we are very sorry that we did. Read all the one star reviews here. Mine would be a minus one star review if possible. Four of us booked a day kayak tour for Feb.6, 2024 which they canceled and then they have not given me the refund due, $599, after many inquiries. I have put in detailed complaints to the Hawaii state DLNR/ boating division, the Better Business Bureau, and am working on a police report now. This company steals your money. It’s that simple and blatant. BE WARNED! GO ELSEWHERE.

We payed in advance for a night snorkel trip to see the manta ray. After we arrived we couldn't find the business so we called. The guy said "sorry but I can't go out tonight" I asked for a refund but never recieved one. Luckily we met the lovely people at "My Kona Adventures" when we were leaving and they let us join and gave us a discount for our troubles. DO NOT BOOK WITH ALOHA KYAKE. Look up the Google reviews, this happens to almost everyone who books with them. I 100% recommend booking with My Kona Adventures instead, we had a great time with them.

Don’t use this company! We were stood up! Waited over 1.5 hrs for our tour and never saw anyone. Called multiple times, sent text messages, sent emails….nothing. No one to even get a refund from. Had to send the dispute through the CC company. TERRIBLE! What a waste of morning.
