Carl lead our group of 6 on a journey across New Orleans history bringing it to life with impressive details and context that painted the picture of not just what happened, but also offering an understanding of possible whys behind historic events. Half way, we stopped and grabbed a beer at Parasol's. We appreciated the time and attention Carl devoted to our questions. He clearly has passions for history, New Orleans, music and education.

Had an amazing experience on this tour!! Our tour guide was phenomenally knowledgeable (had graduated from Berkeley, was a musician and an employee of the state’s Historical Society) and we covered so much New Orleans “ground”, both physically as well as culturally. It is a great way to learn about New Orleans and it’s rich musical and cultural roots and get some fresh air and exercise song the way!
