Stone Street, Federal Reserve Bank, site of Jefferson’s house. Astrid, or “Ace”, was a great guide. Knowledgeable, well-spoken, gave us sit breaks and places where there was AC. Personable. Witty. The whole 2 hours was packed with information and conversation.

We ended up not having any other people on our trip and received a private tour. Our guide, Sam, knew all of his information and was quick to try to answer any questions about Hamilton we didn’t know. Highly recommend!

We were in the City to celebrate our son's 18th birthday. He's a history buff so we thought this tour would be something fun to do before meeting up with the rest of the family for dinner. Our tour guide Michael only very briefly asked where the 3 of us and the other party of 3 were from and didn't even wait for me to finish my sentence past we're from Long Island because I was going to elaborate that I work in the City and have spent all of my career in Manhattan. My wife, who is a teacher, felt he wasn't at all looking to connect with the audience and just wanted to stick to his script. We didn't follow the itinerary in the order it is laid out above but did hit all of the stops. The one bathroom break was 1.5 hours into the 2 hour tour. I unfortunately had to go from the very beginning having run into a lot of unexpected traffic on the way in so we didn't have time to stop for a restroom and thus my walking pace was a bit slower but Michael just kept up with his pace so we sometimes fell behind. There were fun facts we weren't aware of along the way and spots like Stone Street we didn't actually know about. Our history buff was having a bit of trouble hearing everything through the mask Michael had on so he admittedly tuned in and out. The other area of improvement, especially with only 6 people, would be to offer a few photo ops along the way. The only time we were invited to stop for a picture was at the Stock Exchange by the Fearless Girl. The other party wasn't interested and Michael stayed over by them so we felt pressured to hurry up and couldn't really wait for folks to clear from the background. On most tours the guide offers to take shots for you and it's so much easier for them to ask folks to kindly step aside for a nice memorable shot. Trinity Church definitely would've made for a good picture along the way as well. This tour has potential to be a nice outing for anyone interested in a bit of history and or more background for the musical. With the right approach from a guide who seeks to connect with the audience and deliver a little bit of what they've come for we'd recommend.

A great learning experience. Ace was personable, knowledgeable, and kept us interested. We learned little known insights on Hamilton and the city buildings.
