What a great way to see the Downtown area of Charleston! The history provided by our guide, Dena, was very interesting and relevant. And the food was fantastic! We especially loved the dishes we had at 82 Queen and Ruby Sunshine. We love doing food tours as it's a window into the local world as well as introduces us to foods and dishes we wouldn't ordinarily order for ourselves. What a great experience!

Our guide Faith was very knowledgeable in the history of the area and how it impacted the area’s traditional foods. The food samplings were pretty diverse, from SC oysters to pulled pork, and were all delicious!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Jade, was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour started precisely on time, and it ended the same way even though we visited three different restaurants and a spice merchant. The stops were planned perfectly, and there were no delays or down time. The food was good -- considerably better than expected, and there was plenty of it. If you're trying to find a good food tour that spends a reasonable amount of time (2.5 hours) and is professionally run, this one should be at the top of your list.

We had issues coming from the airport and were late to start the tour. They let us meet them at the next stop and had our food waiting for us. We tried lots of different foods and bought some spices to go home with. We ate enough food that we didn’t even need dinner that night. Lacey was amazing!!

We had an amazing time on our Charleston food tour with Faith Rose! She was so knowledgeable, not just about the various regional food specialties we sampled, but also about the history, the people, and the Southern culture that really added to the flavor of our experience. Her culinary background combined with her ability to bring history to life created such a lively, fun, and memorable “day date” for my husband and I. On our tour, we enjoyed brioche French toast bites w cream cheese frosting & praline sauce, followed by a biscuit with fried chicken, poached egg & creamy pork tasso gravy at Ruby Sunshine. Next, we had award-winning She-Crab bisque, fried green tomato & stone ground grits with tomato-bacon jam at 82 Queen, followed by a sampling of a variety of specialty Southern & Gulla-Geechee spices, pimento cheese, and iced tea at the Spice & Tea Exchange. We finished off our day with a pulled pork slider with cola glaze and crispy fried onions along with a sampling of Syrah & Pinot Grigio at Well Hung Vineyard tasting room. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Thanks again, Faith! You are such a treasure!

Excellent tour with Graham on Easter. Informational and interesting. There wasn't much walking, because everything was close. Good food and more than enough to be a lunch.
