We had an amazing time on our snorkeling adventure. We went on the 8 am trip, it was less crowded. The crew took really good care of us and we had a 10 year old and 8 year old on board. It was the best!

Allen and Dustin were absolutely amazing! We misread our itinerary and we were running late. They were patient, kind and so friendly. Great snorkeling experience without a large crowd. We would book this trip again and again!

We had a great time with the small group experience on the snorkel outing to the Captain Cook monument underwater park. Carmel our snorkeling guide and Cory our captain did a great job explaining and entertaining when they needed to and otherwise stay out of the way. Their smaller (but not small!) boat seemed to get us there a bit earlier in the day, as the location eventually gets a bit overrun with other snorkeling parties. Just when we got there we noticed down dolphins playing in the water around the boat, which of course delighted us and made us get in the water a bit later. Swimming with the dolphins is no longer permitted but watching them is! The reef and coral area is nice and easy to swim with plenty of fish to see. Just when we boarded back onto the boat a manta ray was swimming deep underneath the boat as a stylish finish. On the return trip they sprinkle in a few stops along the coast to explain rock formations and related Hawaiian tales…a nice touch of culture. Overall a nice short (3 h) trip which we finished off with a nice lunch in nearby Kona.

We had a wonderful experience with Hawaii Oceanic, on April 22, 2024, our Captain and crew were friendly, helpful, funny and very knowledgeable. The Captain took us out and we searched for dolphins and whales on our way to Kealakekua Bay, the trip was gorgeous. When we arrived WE WERE THE FIRST BOAT THERE, so we had it all to ourselves for about half an hour! They gave great instructions and really encouraged us to go slow and how to look for octopi, etc... I want to add that to anyone who says it's a dead reef... with no life. Their eyes were closed. We've snorkeled in top places all over the world and yes, there's been a decline in reefs everywhere, BUT HAWAII is the only place that we've seen NEW CORAL GROWING back!!!! The water clarity in Kealakekua Bay was crystal clear, SO many fish, eels, coral, etc, etc... we could not have asked for more! Also we got to go at our own pace (we stayed out a bit longer than others) and were served fresh pineapple, chips and drinks when we got back onboard. Then we got to hang around sleeping dolphins and stopped at several historical locations on the way back to the harbor. Well worth the money and highly recommended!!!

We started by see a pod of dolphins. They were so beautiful to watch. Our skipper and guide gave us wonderful instructions on where to see the most fish and it was spectacular.
