Old Faithful
The world's most famous geyser!
Lower Geyser Basin
The Lower Geyser Basin features the Fountain Paint Pot Trail, which will take you alongside many thermal features.
Midway Geyser Basin
Among other attractions, the Midway Geyser Basin is home to the iconic Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser Crater.
Biscuit Basin
Biscuit Basin is a really beautiful geyser basin that features, amongst others, Sapphire Pool. On this tour, there may not be enough time to do both Biscuit Basin and Black Sand Basin, which are smaller geyser basins. Depending on when Old Faithful erupts, it may only be possible to do one of those two smaller geyser basins.
Black Sand Basin
Black Sand Basin is a pretty geyser basin, although not one of Yellowstone's larger geyser basins. On this tour, there may not be enough time to do both Biscuit Basin and Black Sand Basin, which are both smaller geyser basins. Depending on when Old Faithful erupts, it may only be possible to do one of those two geyser basins.
Isa Lake
We'll stop at Isa Lake, which is right on the Continental Divide, for pictures.
West Thumb Geyser Basin
West Thumb Geyser Basin is right on the shores of Yellowstone Lake and is one of Yellowstone's most beautiful sights.
Mud Volcano
Mud Volcano is a smaller thermal area, and we'll spend a short time wandering around the lower portion.
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is an unexpected wonder and treat among all of Yellowstone's thermal features! We'll visit the aptly named Artist Point, as well as Lookout Point and Grand View Point. We hope to take a short walk down towards the brink of Yellowstone's upper falls, and you'll have great views of the lower falls as well.
Grand Loop Road
The Grand Loop Road is the road that runs around Yellowstone's two loops, and we'll be taking it along the lower loop of the park. One of the beauties of Yellowstone is that you never know what you may see, and we'll be stopping a lot of the time to view Yellowstone's famous wildlife!
Gibbon Falls
Gibbon Falls is a pretty waterfall, which we will stop at on the way back to West Yellowstone.
