What a fantastic day out for both young & old. The Studio tour is a must do first as it gives you an insight into the history of the studio productions & it's stars, as well as a few thrills along the way. Around every corner there were jaw dropping sights to see, especially in the wonderful world of Harry Potter. Anyone travelling to Los Angeles must visit Universal Studios......you won't regret it!

This was my first time using this website to buy tickets. It was fast, easy and I was very satisfied with the outcome. 👍🏽 . Highly recommend.

Jurassic World was absolutely worth the price of admission! It was the ride I was most excited about, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The experience was incredible, and I wasn't disappointed at all.

We had a great day at Universal and would really recommend the early access tickets. This allowed us to enter the park an hour early and take loads of photos while it was very quiet. We also got to go on the Harry Potter rides all by ourselves twice before it opened for general admission! Well worth it!

It was such a great experience for our first visit ever. The attractions were both fun and exciting. Would we go again, most definitely!!

We visited the park on a Monday in early June. We boarded the shuttle from the nearby Hilton Universal Hotel at 7;30 am, were dropped off near the NBC Sports Grill & Brew on the Universal City Walk, and walked to the entrance. After going through security and scanning our early entrance ticket, we proceeded to the left side of the red carpet where they scanned our general admission ticket then we headed to the lower lot which took us a good 15-20 minutes. There was already a 20 minute wait for Bowser’s Challenge. At least there were great things to see while waiting in line. We finished the ride at 8:50 am, bought a couple items in the gift shop and hopped back in the single rider line before the general admission people arrived at 9:05 am. The early admission ticket was worth every penny because we were able to do the Transformers ride, the Jurassic Park ride twice, and the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride before 11 am so we could use our early entrance pass to avoid the line on the 60 th anniversary Studio Tour. After the tour we had lunch at Three Broomsticks, which was delicious (see separate review) and went on the second Harry Potter ride, the Flight of the Hippogriff. We hit most of the things we wanted to see by 2:00 pm. One thing to take note of, be careful if you have vertigo. Many of the rides can trigger this. The Bowser’s challenge was fine, you can always close your eyes near the end if the effects bother you. The Transformers ride was a little rough, I wouldn’t recommend it because of the speed and the amount of spinning. Jurassic Park was fine. The Flight of the Hippogriff was very short but did cause us all to feel dizzy and have some nausea. The Forbidden Journey is not recommended as the effects plus the movement also caused both nausea and dizziness for all of us although it is a really cool ride. You can walk through and exit before boarding if you’d like to see everything but it is extremely dark. The studio tour was interesting and has several new attractions. Again for those who have vertigo issues there are three sections that may bother you, #1 King Kong: the tram shakes violently and effects are fast moving, I had to hang on and close my eyes through most of it. #2 Earthquake: I was able to keep my eyes open but it did shake quite a bit, it was minor compared to the King Kong experience. #3: Fast and Furious: it appears as though you are going very fast but the tram isn’t going forward, I had to shut my eyes for a majority of the event. I did survive and didn’t get a vertigo episode but I did feel slightly dizzy the rest of the day. Kids would really enjoy the Super Silly Fun Land and the Minion section, make sure you bring a bathing suit for them. We had a great time, I recommend it!

This review is strictly about the studio tour inside the theme park. My wife and I went on the tour expecting a fairly sedate trip around some soundstages and backlots. I knew about the Jaws lake as well. What we were not expecting was to be taken into a structure where the tram was very violently slammed around while King Kong fought dinosaurs on screens around us. There are two other sections (one earthquake themed and one themed to the Fast & Furious movies) that jostle the tram a bit, but nothing like the King Kong one. My wife has serious back issues and had no plans to ride any actual rides that day. A studio tour seemed safe, but we absolutely should not have gone on it. She ended up spending most of the rest of the day in bed icing her neck and back. I'm not blaming Universal for this. There was probably signage somewhere that we missed, since, again, we were expecting a backlot tour. I just want people to be aware that this studio tour is far rougher than something like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. As for the tour itself, it's a lot less about movie and TV production than something like the Warner Brothers backlot tour. Instead, the soundstages are quickly passed by in favor of these more ride-like segments, the Jaws lake, and a series of photo ops set up around the Bates Motel. The guide has a bit of scripted patter, but spends a lot of time just showing videos. We passed some props and sets from Nope, at which point something was supposed to happen, but I'm not sure what. And the Fast & Furious section may have been one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. At least Kong, for all of the knocking us around, was pretty well done. In the end, it's not really a ride, and it's not really a studio tour. Manage your expectations, and make sure you don't have any back problems before you climb into the tram.

Good Park. Not cheap but good attractions, good places for lunch. Me and my friends had a good time. The lines could be better.

Easy ticket purchase and easy entrance procedure. Had a great time at Universal. Not too crowded and the rides were a blast. Really enjoyed the studio tour as well! Highly recommend!
