The whole experience was amazing!! Adrianna was our guide and she was fantastic!! She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to be with.

It was a terrific day. Adriana made it very enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable about the region and some very interesting history facts. She really made the day. The fall colors were vibrant. In addition to the waterfalls and fall foliage, there were rainbows over the mountains. Excellent day!

We loved being driven around so we could look at the scenery and enjoy the ride. Adriana, was very personable, accommodating and an excellent driver. Her vehicle was very comfortable. She had a box of snacks and a cooler of soft drinks and water. We did wish she had told us more about what we were seeing and the history of the area. I live not far from the area we travelled so perhaps she didn’t feel the need but my traveling companion is not local. But overall, we enjoyed our day very much.

I have previously booked private tours through "Trip Advisor". Each experience has been 5 Stars with the exception of this one. Private tours are pricey but I am willing to pay for the enhanced experience or so called VIP experience. This one has caused me to question whether further private tours through "Trip Advisor" are in my future. Objectively, the tour provided all per the description. However, the area is rich with natural beauty and steeped in history. The information concerning both was lacking. The conversation, as stated by my fellow trip advisor traveler, Nancy, was not appropriate to say the least. During a five hour tour, conversation and some personal information is expected and welcome. The content of the conversation on this tour far exceeded this. At times, the conversation made us feel uncomfortable. The level of disclosure compromised the enjoyment of the tour touched on themes not appropriate for a family. As this is advertised as a VIP tour, it is reasonable to assume a level of professionalism and decorum. Additionally, knowledge is expected concerning the content of the tour. The vehicle needed some attention. It was not mal odorus, but it had a stint that was less than pleasant to endure for five hours. The lunch stop was Tex Mex or Mexican. I, mistakenly, assumed that the stop would be at a restaurant that was not cuisine specific as I do not care for Tex Mex. Had I been given a heads up, I would have opted for another restaurant.

The whole day was perfect. Laurie really made the trip! She was so knowledgeable about not only the waterfalls but also things going on locally. I would give her and the trip a 10+ if I could. The number of waterfalls was amazing and some very near the road. The scenery was spectacular. Laurie is a professional photographer and she took some pictures of us that she forwarded to us that were really good. We are not photographers, so that was a real plus for us as well,

The waterfall tour was great. And the views of both the falls and surrounding area was breathtaking. Above all our tour guide Lori was amazing. Knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. We have been on dozens of tours over the past few years and none more scenic or enhanced by such a wonderful tour guide.

Every aspect of this experience was amazing. The scenery was gorgeous and the entire process was easy and personalized to our needs. Dennis and AJ were both very knowledgable and easy to communicate with. AJ went above and beyond tailoring the tour to our needs and surprised us with a picnic lunch as well as being our personal photographer. We were visiting for a family girls weekend with ages ranging from 40-75 and the walking portion was easily accessible for all of us. We all thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend this tour.

The falls were of course fantastic and just as advertised (5 stars)! We travel and take VIP boutique tours often simply to maximize short vacations to new areas and can truly appreciate tours can be somewhat hit or miss so we are very open minded and don't have high expectations and... I always read reviews and this one looked good so I will be honest and up front because they really do paint a picture of what to expect. First, the Brandon in the awesome reviews no longer does these tours. To say this trip was overpriced for the drivers knowledge is an understatement (would have given her 2 stars for being a safe driver) but having very little knowledge outside of knowing the names of the falls and zero about the area was disappointing since all the reviews raved about Brandon (she said trained her), and although she knew a lot about the music scene in Ashville, she did not know much about anything else since she wasn't from the state. Our main reason for the review is because she made sure we knew every aspect of her personal life, her ex-partners, her vegan and nomadic life style, how she spent covid meditating on rocks and of course sliding a bit of politics made it for a very long 5 hours. We were there for US not for our driver to have a gal pal to talk to, so not a good value at all. I can tell you our ears were bleeding, and we were gritting our teeth and the few moments we could get a word in was only to redirect the conversation. As a mother daughter duo, at the first bathroom stop 30 minutes in- my adult (special ed teacher with her masters who didn't say a peep the entire day) said "oh boy mom you're really going to struggle with this trip" because the driver was so very extreme in dominating the conversation even said herself: 'we aren't supposed to talk about this" but did so right after stating that. We fully anticipated for a lot of driving but did not expect to have little to no interaction about the environment outside of how much time our driver spent on her favorite rock during covid meditating and envisioning native Americans that she had no historical accuracies to share- just her imagination. Lunch was a good spot, at this point it would have been nice to sit with ourselves, most of the tours we take the driver at this time ideally lets their guests to their own table since there is no privacy in the car it would be great to have some personal time at lunch. Had to ask if I could have a water I spotted on the back seat on the second to last stop, saw some snacks too but wasn't offered those. Overall we made it a good day but I'll make a memo in my reservation for the type of guide we might prefer, or at the very least avoid one that has lived in the state for at least a couple of years.

The Carolina Waterfalls and Highlands tour was spectacular! Brendon picked us up at our hotel and took us to many waterfalls. He is very knowledgeable about the history, tree types, and waterfalls in the mountains. He was attentive to our needs. He took pictures and shared them with us. He drove safely. It was comforting to have a local, familiar with the area do the curvy mountain driving. The foliage and few waterfalls were absolutely amazing!
