The interactional presentation, prepared by our guide, will take place in the car on the way to the beaches. A stop in the rest area can be made.

Normandy American Cemetery

It reunites the graves of 9,387 soldiers fallen in combat. The chapel, Memorial and the Walls of the Missing and garden complete the site. The cliffs leading down to the beaches contain the remnants of the German defences, including concrete casemates with memorials to the soldiers.

Pointe du Hoc

Located between the two landing beaches of Omaha and Utah, the Pointe du Hoc was an observation post armed by the Germans in France during World War II. It was thought to be the most dangerous post with regards to the Americans’ plans to invade via the beaches. The Germans had six 155mm canons placed here that had a 20 kilometer range – easily being able to destroy anything that landed on either of the two beaches. Self-guided tour

Utah Beach was the first beach to be stormed by the Allies on the morning of 6 June 1944. It was chosen to establish a beachhead in the Cotentin region in order to capture the town of Cherbourg and its deep water port. *By the request we can visit the museum of the Landing on the Utah Beach*

*16:30 Departure to Paris. It takes 3,5 hours (320 km), it's possible to stop on the way at a rest area. *20:30 Return to Paris Drop off at your hotel. The day full of history and memorable sites is ending but we will be happy to meet you again.

That was very moving. It’s tough period that should be learnt. These places should be visited. And the best way to do it with a guide who we help you around. Private transportation also guaranteed that we were following the route that we chose. Recommend it to everyone!
