Your Itinerary

Musee De Cluny

The building that sublimates the history of the Latin quarter, of Paris, and indeed of the entire Europe. During the visit we shall only address it from the outside, without entering the museum, as that is a separate visit.

Sorbonne

University of Sorbonne, the centre of the Latin quarter and the second oldest university in Europe.

Pantheon

The former centre of the city while it was called Lutèce and occupied by the Romans, nowadays the site is dominated by a megalomaniac building acting as a mausoleum. The visit does not include the entrance to the Pantheon as that is a separate tour in itself.

Eglise Saint-Etienne-du-Mont de Paris

The most layered and complex piece of architecture in the entire city of Paris. A must see.

Place de la Contrescarpe

the back of the Latin quarter, not nearly as frequented and popular as rue de la Harpe, but just as charming, if not more so

Luxembourg Gardens

One of Paris' most beautiful parks, with an intriguing history

Shakespeare and Company Bookstore

The legendary anglophone bookstore, library and a publishing house

Addy was an amazing tour guide. So full of knowledge. We moved at the pace that was right for our group. We added on the skip the line louvre tour as well. Worth having a guide inside. We hit the highlights and she moved us around the museum to avoid the crowds as much as possible. Highly recommend.

Boris/Paris in Person were recommended by a local author in Paris based on my interest in deep art history. Boris was very responsive and paired me with Milica who was very knowledgeable leading me to undiscovered historic spots I'd never noticed, though they were in plain sight. Milica expertly wove global history into Parisian history and answered my many questions. I really appreciated her art history expertise and willingness to continue in the downpour. Milica was an absolutely delightful person. I really enjoyed our company together and look forward to scheduling my next tour with her or Boris upon my imminent return.

Recently 4 Canadian women signed up for a Friday night walking tour of the Latin Quarter while visiting Paris. Our guide Sonja was so informative and passionate about Paris it made the evening come to life. Having someone narrating the streets as you walk just adds a higher level of enjoyment of such a beautiful city. Kudos to Sonja for teaching us so many things about her adopted city. Highly recommend it, thank you.
