Yesterday did not go well. We met our guide at the agreed time and location with the specific brief of visiting Cardiff Castle Phillip our guide was very pleasant but immediately advised us that unfortunately the Castle was closed until the 23rd January for minor refurbishment I have since checked the Castle web site and this information was available to Viator who obviously chose not to advise us. The guide then proceeded to take us on alternative tour around Cardiff which was not what we paid for and certainly not what we wanted ( I have lived in Cardiff all my life) The trip lasted 1hour 20 mins and cost £223.12 for 5 of us which is excessive for a tour that was not what we requested I would expect a full refund for this booking Regards Ian Wheadon
