The group size and walking pace were very good. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Scott shared a lot the history of San Francisco's China Town and the city itself. The food was plentiful and very good Cantonese . The food was catered to folks who don't like more spicy Chinese cuisine, like Szechuan. I must say that the vegetable dumplings that I've ever head. The visits at the specialty chocolate shop and tea shop were highlights for me.

This is a 4 hour walking tour with time for a rest when we sampled local food and tea. There was a lot of history as well as food. The guide was excellent, including friendly. I had so much to eat that I won’t need dinner tonight.

Had a wonderful 3 hour culinary walking tour of Chinatown. Guide, Scott, was knowledge and interesting. Best was the Dim Sum and Peking Duck.

Andre is a great guide and tried to cover as much as he could in the 3 hours! I am a native of SF and still learned so much. Enjoyed eating Dim Sum at the first Dim Sum house in the USA. Learning about teas at a tea store, fortune cookie making and historical information! Well worth the price! Thank you!

We really enjoyed hearing about the history of Chinatown. That evening, we shared some of the stories with locals who have been in SF for decades, and they were surprised to hear them. Sean (sp?) was a fantastic guide and storyteller.

First off we won this tour in our local school auction. I respect any business that donates to education. Thank you Local Tastes. We are SF residents and booked the Chinatown Tour with our 2 kids ages 5 and 8. We loved it! Our tour guide was Isabella and she was great. She was super knowledgeable and funny. As a SF native I even learned things about SF that I did not know. We made many stops along the way that made walking easy and enjoyable for the kids. Our favorite stops were the Buddhist Temple and tea tasting. It was such an enjoyable experience spending the afternoon in Chinatown. We can’t wait to book the north beach tour. I am definitely recommending to all our SF visitors when they ask for recommendations.

It starts with a reservation that we were lucky enough to get added to an already full group thanks to to an attentive owner named Tom! Our tour guide was prompt, knowledgeable and informative and kept us moving through out the area. She brought us warm bread to start, then at the end, gave us a good luck charm and sweets, with so much more all throughout our tour. She was great! The tastings she took us to provided a wide variety of Chinatown flavors. If only I could find them in Florida! Wow! The Tea tasting was especially nice and Tom sure put on a show of how to make proper Tea! All in all, worth every dime you pay for this tour.
