Nice way to see Porto highlights and learn about the city's history. Sao Bento train station is a special stop!

All good..loved the view from across the bridge. Great guide. Everything was so close and you can explore it again later.

Carlos was a very good guide. He explained clearly what we were visiting, and he had a wonderful sense of humor - I appreciated his jokes. It was also helpful that the six bridges boat tour could be done anytime after the bus tour, as it allowed us to do the boat tour later that afternoon.

Great all around experience with walking tour, bus on the more hilly and construction area of Porto and river cruise.

Alex was an excellent guide. We first walked around the Cathedral and then the Old Train Station—we had been to both already, but learned so much from him about them. The Port Wine Cellar was great. We then went on the relaxing cruise on our own. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was great from start to finish. Our guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and made the afternoon very interesting and enjoyable. Went above and beyond by dropping us near the boat trip at the end of the tour and giving us a fantastic tip to make our return to our hotel easier. Extremely happy with our afternoon with Valdemar.

Tour started late. There was more walking than expected before getting on the bus. The port wine experience was adequate. The six bridges cruise which we purchased as part of this tour was actually a voucher for us to use that day. More walking required to get to the water and back while we expected this to be part of the tour and that we would be dropped back to the tour office but we weren't. When booking the tour it said hotel pick up included but when confirmation was received it was excluded. All very disorganised!

while the guide was charming , we did not get the experience we expected. no where did it say we’d be packed into a hot bus for hours. we paid $111 plus which was frankly none of the prices listed. we were told twice we would get lunch ( even asked for our preference) and then the lunch for us disappeared. the office where we met kept telling us different stories about our tour. the details were very confusing. everyone was a bit confused about what our package included. highlight was the port tasting , but it could not save the day. zero communication between your tour and the boat people. we were told boats ran every hour, every half hour , then whenever….. and finally getting on was quite stressful for no reason except no one cared we had tickets. the boat ride had zero interaction between guides and us, we learned nothing about the bridges and the idea of downloading a tutorial did not even work ( no internet). it was a cheesy boat ride very very very touristy which we did not really want at all. no where did you say beforehand how long the boat ride would be, and it was kind of an afterthought and awkward.

Our guide was excellent, but experiencing the excursion in both Spanish, and English was difficult to stay engaged.

Daniel_P

Nice tour. Would have been better if it was all in English and not split between Portuguese and English. Guide was very personable and interesting.
