Great kiteschool, learned a ton in 9 days and the instructors were very nice and knowledgeable. Gear and transport was very well organised so we didn't have to do much besides enjoy the lessons. Definitely recommend them

Spent five days of kite surfing with Addict in Tarifa. I had read a lot of good reviews and thought the offer was good. The two owners of Addict are really friendly people. However that cannot be said of the instructor we had. He was several times very irritated and told in a very irritated voice things like "I already told you this yesterday!" or "I showed you this yesterday!" or "I just told only to disconnect the side!". But it got worse. When I at one one time trained water starts on the beach and when I took hold of the red bar with my right hand he took his finger against his head made a screwing gesture with the finger and a farting sound with his mouth. Which is the same thing as saying "You are stupid in your head???!!". He was not saying that, instead he said angrily "Why do you that!!???". Doing something like this to a customer is never acceptable.
It did not stop there. When I was later in the water and was told to come back to the beach he was upset that I had released the kite. He had told me the day before when I had asked how to handle the kite when going up from the water to the beach that it was fine releasing the kite. He said things like "You need to think man!!!". And when I told that he had said yesterday that I should release the kite when walking up from the water he said that I had misunderstood. So if he does not explain anything fully I misunderstand? A person that thinks so has a lot to learn. As an instructor/teacher you are responsible for the person you teach to understand you. That is crucial always when it comes to teaching. You need to make sure that your message has been understood, that the student is at the right level to handle the task, the kite in this case, on his or her own. If there are too much people on the beach and the student do not have complete knowledge how to handle the kite, the instructor need to understand this and not tell the student to go to the beach on a spot where people are swimming and children are playing at the beach.
This instructor was not communcating with us much and we had to try to drag answers out of him. At one point when I was in the water the instructor told me to go back to the beach. I tried to do so but the problem was that the water was full of kites that as a beginner, the third time in the water with a kite ever, could not navigate between the kites. So my team mates kite and my kite crashed into each other. The instructor later told me "Didnt you look?!".
Apart from this several things can be said:
-The instructor never informed how to strap the life west which in my case had the effect of it nearly falling off my head in the water.
-The same thing was with the helmet. We where not told which way it should be placed - other instructors informed us about these things when they saw we had them wrong.
-On day two we had not got security lines. Since we already had walked up the beach this delayed us with about an hour. We did not got any compensaion for that time loss. It is the instructors responsibility to see that we have the right equipment. When we finally went into the water it lasted 15-20 minutes for me. I only got to kite surf one time this day, my team mate got to do it three times. I carried the kite in heavy wind from the yellow marked swimming area all the way up the beach were the kites start from the water just to get to know that the instructor had changed his mind and I needed to carry the kite back again because there were no wind. It was wind for my team mate.
- A ride back to town was included in the agreement. A couple of times this ride was delayed for more than an hour.
- In the agreement it say that pictures of the day would be taken. No pictures of us were taken.

It was a fantastic experience! Tarifa is quite a technical spot so the support of the instructors is paramount. We had Axel with my brother and the level of teaching was second to none! The overall team is also extremely competent and cool! Marie and Romain have been super professional and reactive day 1. I can only recommend to go with them for Kite classes (across all levels). Will be back next year!

It was a such a good experience! The team and our instructor was super friendly. We were total beginners and got good advices adapted to our level. We made a super fast porgress within 4 days because they allowed us to experience real-life kitesurfing situations.
