A river boat trip along the Guadalquivir River in Seville is a very enjoyable experience. There are quite a few companies selling these trips but we went with Guadaluxe for their green credentials at a cost of 15 Euro each for an hour's cruise on a small boat taking around 8 passengers. In reality it is more like 50 minutes, the trip is limited to just 4 bridges and the commentary is a taped recording in Spanish, French and English. The English commentary is pretty awful and adds little to the occasion. Having voiced these criticisms it is, however, a gentle and pleasant experience, and worth doing if you are not on a very tight budget. The river trips are very popular (even in mid-May before the peak season) and you would be well advised to book on-line or in person a few days in advance.

Disappointing. Kinda get sucked in to thinking this is a bit more ‘exclusive’ but it was a large boat with rubbish commentary going up and down the river showing you actually very little. It also wasn’t 60 minutes. It took five minutes to get everybody on board and it landed five minutes before the hour to get everybody off. All in all a pretty average experience.

Lovely boat. Relaxing and charming experience. Good blend of history with different languages given.

The tour was supposed to be on a glass boat and we went on a small boat with a pre-recorded guided tour where you could not even see the mentioned sights. Disappointing!

Nigel_C

Great spacious boat. Very quiet with no engine noise. Good commentary. A nice interlude in the day and good to see city from different perspective

Kim_K

Lovely relaxed journey and very well organised by the company - however it was hard to hear the commentary as people were chatting away especially when the English came on. You need headsets or better methodology.

Was very nice, clean and chill. With explanations in English spanish and french. Just a little bit loud the music but overall is very good 👍 i would recommend this experience!

Amazing scenic views on spacious boat with not too many people on it. Intresting commentary on landmarks and the really cool bridges given in Spanish, English, and French. The volume of the speakers were comfortable/not too loud and the audio lines up with what we saw.

This is a very slow boat (gentle is a good word for it) and in a one-hour cruise you go under only the four or so bridges alongside the main part of Seville that there is every chance you will see anyway. The English commentary was very limited and quite hard to understand. The pictures that Tripadvisor uses of two couples having some kind of meal and wine are not very realistic.

This was a nice tour on the river with a very nice boat. The boat was electric with a solar panelled roof. It was relaxing and the commentary is in Spanish, French and English. It would have better to have a bit more information in the commentary
