The location is beautiful, the Hostess, Lynsey, is amazing. She welcomed the four of us into her beautiful home and from the moment we arrived until we left over three hours later we felt like part of her family. The food she provided, and which we helped cook at her direction, was truly one of the most delicious meals we have ever eaten. Her daughter Nelly was helping out and she too was amazing.

Our visit to La Rosilla came at the end of a ten day painting workshop to Andalucia. We learned how to make paella and we painted there. The hosts have created a place of beauty and rest. Plants and flowers on the verandas frame lush views of the surrounding mountains. Every detail, from beginning to end was thoughtfully done - coffee, sweets, multi-course lunch, and the paella cooking instruction. I would like to go back and stay for a week.

After an interesting drive from Marbella we arrived in time for an arroz/ paella session with Lynsey and Nell plus the cutest dog Fanny! They made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed every minute! We prepared the ingredienses in their cozy kitchen before making the paella outdoor. Tasted sherry and roasted almonds while cooking. We were also served tasty tapas before enjoying the very nice paella. The atmosphere and the view from the garden are amazing! The course is highly recommended!

A fabulous experience, a fantastic Christmas present from my partner. We were greeted upon arrival by Lynsey and her daughter Nellie at their lovely home in the mountains, the scenery was breathtaking. The experience was very hands on, preparing ingredients indoors, as the weather was not the best, then outside to cook. All the way through, the Lynsey/Nellie double act made the experience enjoyable and memorable. While the paella was cooking, we went inside for a glass of wine and tapas. Then in came the paella, which was delicious, finished off with a lovely dessert. Lynsey and Nellie were great hosts, it was a pleasure to share their company in their lovely home. We have already purchased paella pans, and hope to replicate what we have learned back home in England. Thank you for a great afternoon, we will let you know how we get on.

My husband and I spent a lovely afternoon cooking with Lynsey and her daughter. The location is beautiful and both were excellent hosts. Lynsey is wealth of information and an excellent and patient teacher. We highly recommend this experience and hope to return.

My husband and I spent a lovely afternoon with Lynsey at La Rosilla, learning about the local area, local foods, and how to make a killer rice dish. Lynsey is delightful, charming, funny and a great instructor. From drinks with delicious lemon cookies to padron pepper roulette, to preparing all of the ingredients for the paella, to sherry and nibbles and a simply smashing lunch with great wine, we were engaged and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Looking forward to replicating at home, and savoring our memories.

Our paella class with Lynsey was one of the major highlights of our Spain vacation. The ambiance is tranquil and breath taking. Lynsey is knowledgeable and friendly. She shared many tips that we will use on the next paella we make at home. The paella was absolutely delicious, she guided us each step of the way. Everything we ate was a delicious experience (appetizers, home made bread, lemon cake and yogurt). We will never forget this experience!! Thank you Lynsey for welcoming us into your lovely home, God bless you.

This was truly a unique experience and was one of the highlights of our visit to Spain. I cannot say enough on how warm and inviting Lynsey and Nell were during our visit. We felt like we were visiting old friends! The food was amazing and so much fun learning how to make paella. Oh, and I cannot forget about the spectacular views! Anyone thinking about this experience should just book it now and don't think twice, you will not be disappointed.
