Wow. That is how I should start my review. Simply…WOW! I was in Washington DC for a business trip and I decided to go on this tour solo. Worth every single penny, if not more! Derek was my tour guide and Miles my driver. They were an amazing duo. They love their job, or at least, from the interactions and the passion, it seems like it. I would definitely recommend taking this tour before or after seeing the monuments during the day because this is a “faster” paced tour. We have 3 hours and there are many people on the tour, so there is the need to be a little quicker. Which, if you are concerned about it, it definitely DOES NOT take away from the experience. The immense knowledge that Derek had about history facts, fun facts, little hidden gems, was INSANE. I had already seen some of those memorials during the day, however, without this tour, I had no clue about half of the history behind it (I am not originally from the USA!). Love it. They put so much effort in making sure you see everything and take pictures of everything. I 100% recommend this. Hands down!

This is a must when in DC. There are a lot of great photo opportunities, and touring the monuments at night provides a different perspective than when seeing them during the day. Rob, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable.

Rob and Trina were amazing on this tour. Rob is a historian with a huge knowledge of US history as well as many fun stories throughout the tour, on the bus as well as during the stops. We loved the balance of riding the bus and touring the monuments. Rob knew exactly where to take us for great photos, away from the crowds. This was an amazing summary of many important DC buildings and historic events as well as experiencing the moving monumenrs themselves. We would highly recommend the tour with the comfortable open top bus and the skilled guide amd attentive driver.

Excellent tour. The driver and the guide did a great job. Way and enjoyable way to see the big monuments and memorials at night.

The driver, Gil, was great! And the guide, John was nice but should silence his own political view The tour hit all the spots. The 3-star rating is that John would give his talk loudly for all to hear right in the memorial, whether it was the Vietnam, Korean Memorial, or the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorial. It really took away from the somberness that they should be observed in. It felt disrespectful. It took away from the awe that is usually felt there. Constructive criticism - give your talk outside of the memorial and then let your tourists walk through in silence. And give them time to read the inscriptions on the walls that are so important in knowing our history. It would be a 5- star tour then.

Tracy and Paul were great. They were funny. Gave a lot of significant facts. I recommend doing this but it is 3 hours long but you get you money worth.

Our tour was top notch! Paul was a history buff and has worked in the DC area as a guide for many years. He was very knowledgeable and we loved his energy and personal family stories as well. Our driver, Trina, was so friendly and kind and always on time to take us to the next place. We loved having a small group so that we could move about quickly and easily between monuments and not have to wait for a large group to load up. We had 7 adults in our night tour. It rained a bit and they offered rain ponchos to us and also cold water bottles. We were able to see more monuments in a smaller amount of time because our group was small, thus worth the extra upgraded cost for a small private tour. We loved our tour!
