Your Itinerary

Bayou St John

In the 19th century, an area along Bayou St. John was reputedly the location of many voodoo rituals by Marie Laveau. The Magnolia Bridge over the Bayou continues to serve as a site for such rituals every St. John's Eve.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 3

Your introduction to haunted burial ground begin at the gates of this cemetery built in the 1800s during the yellow fever epidemics as the city ran out of room to bury its dead. Everything was something else before it is what it is today. This famous burial location was once a lepers colony with a cemetery of its own. You might say it's a cemetery on top of a cemetery.

Charity Hospital Cemetery

The oldest potter's field in New Orleans. Many tour participants have seen full bodied apparitions in haunted burial ground. Some people have even experienced being touched by "something" during a stroll in the dark field.

Hurricane Katrina Memorial

Here you'll stop to see tombs which hold the bodies of 85 unclaimed victims of the 2005 levee failures, and the names of others who perished.

New Orleans City Park

Stop here for a quick break and a chance to grab a bite at Cafe du Monde (own expense.)

Christian from the Cemetery tour tonight was beyond amazing. He was engaging, funny, but could also tell a great story. Additionally, he was persona, seemed to know so much information, but somehow found a way to bring the information to life. I would 100% take another tour with him as my guide as i would also recommend him to anyone who asks.

Christian was an amazing and informative guide. I enjoyed learning all the history of New Orleans including all the hidden nuggets of knowledge. His energy is infectious and really conveys the pulse of the city. He definitely made a deadly topic quite lively!

Christian and Nick were an excellent team that made our experience wonderful. Christian’s storytelling talents really shown as he explained how death is engrained in every part of the New Orleans culture. It’s truly a master class in storytelling and audience engagement. With little bits of humor sprinkled through his dark tales, you will be engrossed in each moment of the tour. The bus ride was smooth and comfortable… we loved the mid-tour break for coffee and beignets… although we are usually a walking tour crew (sidelined due to my being in a walking boot), we’d definitely look for bus tours in the future. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and go on other tours!

Christian and nick were great! Christian is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Nick was a great driver. I tend to get motion/car sick easy and didn’t have a single issue.

Christian was a great tour guide. Get dead tales! Went with my kids. Family friendly and drive through nice neighborhoods with big mansions!

I'm not sure what we were expecting on this tour, but we were not thoroughly impressed. I will say our tour guide Lacey did a good job as far as details went, and Perry our driver was a nice guy. We did stop at a few cemeteries, but nothing spooky happened while there. Something to do at nighttime, but an expensive and not real impressive tour.

I was here on convention but didn’t always have someone to go out with so I thought this would be a fun solo experience without being too alone. Perfect night out. Though it was a bus tour we got off three times - two cemeteries and a bathroom/beignets break. Christian was a fabulous, fun guide, with a record-breaking monologue about life and death in New Orleans that was worth the price of admission. Highly recommend.

Christian was very education and an exceptional tour guide. He was very upbeat and kept things entertaining and fun. I would highly recommend!
