Great guide Aiden with much to share and great knowledge of all aspects of the tour. It was so fantastic to be in the water with the alligators.

My wife and I scheduled the 3 hour Mangrove Tunnel kayak tour through Shore Adventures. We were met by Aiden, who proved to be a wonderfully patient and informative guide. Neither one of us had very much experience kayaking and we went off course on occasion but Aiden took our miscues in stride. We both agreed that without Aiden describing the fauna and wildlife in the everglades, our trip would have been much poorer indeed. We'd highly recommend Shurr for your Everglade adventure.

Aidan is a star! His ability to weave together lessons from ecology, biology, botany, zoology, and local history is unparalleled. He is warm, gregarious, encouraging, and fun while commanding respect and inspiring admiration. It was an honor to learn from him as we navigated the exotic, other-worldly reaches of the Mangrove tunnels that are both mysterious and beautiful.

3 hour Kayak tour with Aidan was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Florida. We loved that despite us being the only ones who signed up for that day they did not cancel the tour and we had Aiden all to ourselves as well as the river. We learned so much and his love of the Everglades nature shined through in all of the knowledge he shared. We saw baby gators and some big ones. He gave us great recommendations for other activities for the rest of our time there.

Joe led us along the Turner River and through a mangrove tunnel. We saw so much wildlife and had a fabulous time. Joe pointed out birds, turtles and gators. He also had so much history of the land, the people and cultures. I would do it again!

Our kayak adventure was perfect. Joe was the best. He was very professional, crazy knowledgeable and very considerate. Since Joe is also from Maryland we expected nothing but the best. We had a wonderful adventure and got to see everything we hoped for. Thanks to you all.

In addition to it being a perfect day, Nate was a fabulous guide - great knowledge of the flora and fauna, local history and the Turner river. Everything happened exactly on time - from the meeting place to the boat launch and the return. Also, the river is extremely quiet - no motorized vehicles and there were few paddlers on the river when we were there. The mangrove tunnels were awesome.

3hour kayak tour with Joe was fabulous! He could identify birds by sight and sound, relayed lots of information about area history, flora , ecosystems etc. he actually saved our life by telling us a male alligator will sound like a Harley starting so when we heard that the next day on another swamp trail we hauled ….

This 3 hour kayak trip through the mangrove tunnels was superb. The kayak was super comfortable. The guide, nate Fordyce, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We loved every minute. Saw lots of wildlife- birds, alligators and turtles.

Great time! Lots of 'gators, though none were moving. The mangrove tunnel is beautiful. We saw an Osprey couple testing their "mate for life" reputation. On the way out, she wasn't letting him into the nest. On the way back, he was eating a fish and not letting her have any.
