We loved our tour with Ricardo. He had a large group to handle and made us all feel welcome. We learned a lot about port and enjoyed our time with him. He has a dry, deadpan sense of humor and that made this tasting even more fun. Highly recommend Ricardo and this tasting.

The lecturer at the wine warehouse spoke for ?30 minutes and her English was so accented that I only understood 15%. Nine out of ten of the wines were horrible

I rated this tour 5 out of 5 based on Joao the guide. He was informative, personable and worked hard to increase the engagement of all the members with each other. It made the experience very interactive. The selection of Ports and a few wines was very good at cementing the differences between Ruby, Tawny and White. I had never experienced White port before and was always curious about the difference between Tawny and Ruby. I will go home much more knowledgeable about a type of wine I thought I knew something about. The timing starting at 3pm was perfect as well since directly after you could find a restaurant for dinner, there were at least a dozen nearby. Terrific wine tour, I highly recommend.

Please be aware of the steep climb to the first stop. There’s also a lot of steps to get down to the second stop plus there is no elevator to the tasting area. The history and the knowledge that was shared was interesting as was our guide Ricardo. He made the tour enjoyable

Maria was an amazing tour guide. She had such a personality that got you in the mood to try everything and made you not just see the places and taste the wine, but to share your perception of the wine. Made it so enjoyable. I would repeat this for sure. Well worth it.
