My husband, adult daughter and I had a FANTASTIC tour with Alex! He was very friendly, informative, and helpful and we recommend him highly, as well as the tour itself. The wineries and the boat ride down the Douro River, capped off by an expertly prepared lunch( lots of options) and delicious white, red and port wines was exceptional. The stunning views of the Douro Valley added to the magic of the experience. Ask for Alex; he’s terrific!!

Ricardo was an absolutely fantastic guide and we had a brilliant day on the particular trip. We included the duoro valley cruise which was beautiful and we had purchased a bottle from the previous winery to drink on the boat. They opened it and provide little cups. Lunch was in a stunning setting and was delicious. Decent price for a full day trip with meat, cheese and bread breakfast, with wine, wine tasting, cruise and lunch with wine and port pairing.

We had a great trip with Americo on Monday. Our family party of three was joined by another family of three from Ireland. The activities were well paced and enjoyable, and we felt we got a good sense of the Douro by day’s end. Americo was a very friendly, capable and informative guide. Happy to recommend !

What a great tour of the douro valley! Excellent and clear communication with the company and with Pedro, our wonderful and knowledgeable guide. We sampled 7 wines and 3 ports, had a very nice lunch and also sampled lots of delicious food over the day - meats, cheese, amonds, honey and olive oil, with no "hard sell". The white and red vino verde with local cheese and meats at 9:20 am in the village of Amarante was a great way to get to know the two other couples on the tour. Beautiful scenery and a most enjoyable day, which I would thoroughly recommend.

This was a beautiful way to see this special area. Be prepared for driving. At first we were not going to go on the cruise but decided to do it and really really enjoyed the beauty from this view also.

We had a brilliant day exploring the Douro with our guide. Wine tasting, olive oil sampling, river cruise, beautiful lunch under the trees of a manor house and to top it off. Port tasting. Our guide had a passion for the area and was very knowledgeable. Could not recommend this tour more highly.

Evn though it rained, the tour was a wonderful experience. Our Guide Diego was exceptional and kept us interested throughout the tour. Especially while driving he made time to share information about this region of Portugal and Porto. Great Lunch, Wine tasting and tours of the 3 vineyards was fun. Boat ride is worth doing just for the opportunity to talk with your tour companions, take photos for each other and views of the mountainous countryside.
