Helen was wonderful. We hit a traffic jam on Dday + 80 years, she remained Patient, informative, sweet. Helen was well informed and interested in our input as well. Great tour!

We did a private tour of Omaha & Utah Beach on a Friday afternoon; also visiting the town nearby where the beach landings were preceded by paratroopers. Dropped in quickly to visit the German cemetery and were just in time for the Taps at 5PM at Omaha cemetery. Our guide Olivier brought the entire experience to life with many anecdotal accounts of individual soldiers, paratroopers, strategies of both Allies and Germans. The second day we went to Abbaye d’Ardenne where captured Canadians were brutally executed and then on to Juno Beach. Again Olivier was responsible for bringing what happened 80 years ago, once again to life.

This was a wonderful tour - highly recommended. Although the D-Day area was very crowded with visitors on the day of this tour due to the pending 80th Anniversary of the landings, our guide, Clementine. was very skilled in finding places to access the areas we most wanted to see. Without the knowledge of a local, we would not have found these places on our own. She was very informed about the history of Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc. The American Cemetery is an especially moving experience and not to be missed.

Clementine was an expert on the history and on navigating around the traffic of the D-day commemoration.

Brice was a great guide. It was nice to see the sites and learn about the history of DDay. We definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent tour guide. All parts of the trip were well worth while….except for the rain! Cemetary and lowering of flag very poignant. O,aha beach and visitor center film excellent.

We were greeted on time by our friendly guide, Helene. While she transported us to the three sites named in the itinerary, we were very disappointed we did not receive adequate historical context and information based on what we expected and in comparison to other guides we heard showing the same sites to other groups. While our guide was pleasant, we received little value from the tour. We would not recommend this tour. We would have benefitted more from driving to the sites and visiting the museums.

We had a semi private tour with Brice. He was very informative and answered all our questions. We appreciated the tour of the Omaha beach and visiting over ice cream and drinks before seeing the memorial. Very moving. We would recommend this tour.

The tour was the perfect amount of time and places to visit. Our local guide, Bryce, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The American Cemetery was the best part of the itinerary, and we had enough time to explore and learn about the installations, as well as attend the 5pm flag lowering ceremony. I highly recommend this tour of Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American military cemetery.

It was extremely nice that Viator accommodated us by letting us (we scheduled the half day tour and we’re the only people signed up to do the tour) so instead of viator cancelling our tour they let us join the full day tour half the way through.
