The Avila tour was a bit too long, and the time in Segovia too short. Perhaps this is due to our bus going back for missing passengers after driving 20 mins (making us 40 min late). You should give an hour of free time at the aqueduct, to explore and get a coffee. We only had 20 mins.

We overall enjoyed the trip but wish it didn’t feel so rushed. I feel like they should extend the length of the time, especially with lunch. We also would have liked to of seen the cathedral of Àvila. Our bus also arrived several minutes late and it took a while for our guide to adjust the headsets for the tour so they did not overlap with a nearby tour group. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history and did a great job at being a guide.

We really enjoyed Marta’s nice pace and excellent knowledge (and her humor!). There is a lot to see in a full day. I wish that there was more time to explore, but I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour started at 9am, we arrived spot on at 9am and the bus had already left. They said there was nothing they could do, no refund , no credit , nothing. I understand we should have got there a little earlier to be safe, but we are tourists and sometimes it's difficult to guage transport times. Usually the tour operator will send a msg asking if you're on your way if it gets close to departing time, but they knew we weren't there yet and didn't care. Even so, we got there on time and the bus already left. $250 down the drain.

This was a great day out. A bus trip to see outside the city centre, and beautiful historic places to visit with guides who are exceptional. Great stories that are easily heard through the audio system supplied. Felt a little bamboozled at lunch....was quickly escorted to a venue, sat and menus etc dispensed, orders pushed through etc. Was very well organised but didn't feel alot of choice allowed. Well worth the day however.

We started the day out badly…we got on the wrong bus! Luckily for us, the guides and drivers were able to meet and get us back to the correct bus. Thank you bus drivers and guides for going out of the way for us. There was not water for sale on the bus so be sure to carry some as the trip is a bit long. We spent our day with guide Rafael and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Many interesting and thought provoking stories about the history of Avila and Segovia. I liked the pace of this tour. There was time and opportunity to rest a bit or wander a little extra, but not too much either! The headphones made it easy to hear the guide - very appreciated. It was nice to have time to rest your feet on the bus ride between the cities. Be careful when getting back on the bus as people think they own the seat they occupied previously!

Amazing tour. We were lucky to have Rafa our tour guide for Toledo and avila/Segovia tours. He was very friendly, informative , funny and did his best to make sure everyone had a good time. The cathedral and castles that we saw were amazing. The castle at Segovia looks like the Disneyland castle. They gave us ample time to visit explore and eat on our own (for example we were able to climb the walls at Avila and look around the whole city. Make sure you get there by the departure time. For Toledo we were 15 minutes late and had to get a $70 euro uber to meet up with the group but Rafa was super friendly , stayed that we did not miss much. For the price this was a steal versus getting a rental car or uber. We also enjoyed the Escorial trip that was shorter and ended at 2 pm. These 3 trips (Toledo, El Escorial, Avila/Segovia was the highlight of our Madrid trip. The Palacial Real and El prado museum were nice too but we just used audio guides that were ok but not as interactive and fun as the tours we booked

Very excellent. Marta answered all our questions and was very nice. We were given enough time to take in all of the sights and learn new things. Lunch was planned out very well. The breaks in between were perfect. Everything was done in a very timely manner.

I’m very grateful to have been in Rafa’s group on this tour to the iconic towns of Avila and Segovia. Rafa was extremely patient, yet well-paced with such a large group. I enjoyed listening to all the profound history behind the sights. Rafa’s knowledge about these cities and their structures was unending—there was no question that Rafa could not answer.
