Zoltan was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was overwhelming to see all the graves but also beautiful at the same time. All those brave men that sacrificed so much for our freedom.

The tour was the highlight of a 2 week trip! Ann was excited about the topic and very informative and made sure that people had time at each stop. Fabulous!

1. The travel arrangements, execution of them, and guide were very good to excellent. 2. However, Viator deleted the American WWII Normandy Museum tour and inserted the tour of Juno Beach with a lunch break that took 1.5 hours. 3. I DO NOT appreciate having to use 1.5 hours of tour time eating lunch at Juno Beach the Canadian Landing site vs. visiting the American Museum which I expected to visit and paid for! 4. VERY, VERY, DISAPPOINTED!!! 5. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2 STARS AT BEST <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

The whole day was a wonderful experience made extra special by our tour guide Ann. From her sharing her knowledge of what led up to D-Day which included her finding the speeches of Churchill and Roosevelt which got you ready to experience Omaha beach and the American cemetery . On the way back we were treated to watching the movie The Longest Day , very appropriate ending to a wonderful, moving day!

Barb_B

The tour guide was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Unfortunately due to the volume of tourists on sat. June 8 it resulted in significant delays. The tour guide and driver accommodated well with this.

Our tour guide was fabulous. He was in the service and his knowledge of normandy was amazing. Highly recommend this tour

Well organized and efficient trip. Good use of limited time. Our guide (Zoltan) was amazing and as a military man himself had a wide knowledge of D-day operations. Pro tip: the right side of the bus gets warm on the ride back, so sit on the left side if that's an issue for you.

Even though we got caught up in lots of traffic and a huge festival, the guide did his best to give us a good experience.

Two things stand out as truly memorable. First our driver Jean-Charles did an amazing job dealing with the increased level of traffic and congestion resulting from the nearness in time of the D-Day 80th anniversary celebrations. Second, our tour guide was a reserve officer in the Hungarian army (I failed to get his name correctly) with experience with the US military. His sense of humor and comprehension of the military aspects of D-Day greatly enhanced the experience.

Was last here 60 years ago. A lot has changed, some unchanged. Having military ships offshore, landing craft onshore, C47s flying overhead and paratroopers jumping was very cool. American cementary very, very moving for the child of a career military man who did not fight in WWII, but was active duty in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Steve, the guide, brought it alive even more.
